Custard Corner & Grill — Restaurant in Buffalo

Today, I had the worst customer service experience here that I have ever had in my life. I ordered more than I could physically hold and stepped away to my car for about 30 seconds to put my drinks in my car while I waited for my food. By the time I got back, another customer told me that they had called for my food. After they had helped everyone else, I asked for my food, where the employee (an older woman with black hair) rudely chastised me and said she had been calling for me. I had been waiting for about 5 minutes before asking while they helped other people and she did not call for me a second time. When I explained that I had to put my drinks in my car because I could not hold everything, she continued to argue with me for at least a solid minute before she gave me my food. I have never felt so belittled in my life and all from a very simple problem with a very simple solution. I would recommend staying far away from this establishment unless you too want to be infantilized and chastised. I want that employee to know that she genuinely ruined my day. This is also disappointing as the younger girl who took my order was so kind...

I was really disappointed with the way the “Boss” of the place handle my critic. Even more dissatisfied with the way the Italian sausage was today. I asked if I can just get refunded because of the way it tasted from the one bite I took and how hard it was, not only that but I have never seen a sausage pink in the middle the way it was. The “Boss” then proceeded to say how she baked it for an hour and then grilled it, last time I check sausages can be cooked in 10-15 on a grill and not come out looking like that, Of course I didn’t take a picture before I place ketchup and Mustard on it but it definitely looked pale but I wasn’t thinking anything of it. I was going to take it back but then I realize never mind I’ll just throw it in the trash, I felt bad because I didn’t pay for it, a co worker paid for it today and I just didn’t want her money going down the drain. I would never order food...

Today I experienced very disgusting and unprofessional behavior from the owner. I am a former employee that worked here for 2 years and decided not to return for the season because the owner is very extreme and harsh. Many people decided not to come back because of this. Today I went to go get ice cream and food and I ordered my sundae and waited for my food at the food window. The owner was serving the food and when my order was ready, she came to the window and gave me a disgusting look, threw my food down, and walked away. This resulted in my ex-worker who was working as a cashier to come to the pickup window and hand me my food. She even said “do you see the look she just gave you?” I am a paying customer and someone who was apart of your establishment for the last 2 years. Do I deserve this treatment because I decided not to return??? There’s a reason 90% of your employees...
