Absolutely worst drive thru experience ever for me. I have never left any negative ratings on anything! When I got to the window for the food and milkshake I ordered to bring home to my husband and baby they requested I park at cvs the parking lot next to their restaurant for someone to bring the milk shake to me but gave me the food. When I did I noticed a couple of cars with their blinkers on parked I realized that I should have mine on too as they were two other cars there with them on in the spaces closest to the restaurant across the double lanes and parking for chik fil a. After the other cars received theirs and it had been 15 minutes and no sign of the milkshake I returned to the drive thru to inform the girl I ordered from and told her I had been waiting on it. She asked my name and original order again and so did the next associate and the two associates that followed that until I reached the window to explain myself again. I requested to switch out my Husband's french fries because they were cold and would be soggy by the time I made it home at that point. The female who then came to the window got an attitude with me and asked me what size I ordered and said she could do it if I give her the old fries back, which I did without hesitation. No apology or any response whatsoever for my patience as it had been 30 minutes since I originally ordered per the sales ticket on the now cold food I had. Totally unprofessional attitude and altogether atmosphere. I was polite as I always am to employees when I visit any establishment although I have seen people being rude for a lot less in the past. I returned home and told my husband what happened and he did they did the same thing to him when he ordered breakfast earlier this week. Honestly, this is my "go to" location because my husband will not eat fast food anywhere else and I am so blown away by the rudeness and unprofessionalism that Im pretty sure I'll be going out of my way if or when I go to a chik fil a again. I know to some readers it may seem like a lot to expect a certain degree of professionalism from a fast food chain but for $20 for two ppl, and it's reputation as a higherarchy of quality; it's easily implied that chik fil a is supposed to be a notch up in the fastfood industry standards. I don't know if I will ever think it's superior to any...
Read moreAs a resident of the Hamilton Mill area (Sardis rd) to be precise, I am a regular at this chick fil a location. I usually don’t have anything negative to say about them because during business hours they are as polite as they are known to be to uphold the Chic Fil A reputation; however, tonight, I exeperienced a rather rude and completely unwarranted behavior. I ordered a 30 piece nugget meal, 2 chicken sandwiches and a bowl of chicken soup. I asked for bbq, ranch, siracha and chick fil a sauce. When I got home, I noticed I was given 1 of each sauces so I went back to get a bit more since I didn’t have any home. EVERY SINGLE ONE of those white employees looked at me (a woman of color), cackled and spoke among each other, seemingly about me, and disregarded my presence as if I wasn’t staring at them, waving, trying to get their attention! I beeped my horn several times and still, not one of them approached the window to see what I needed. It was 8 minutes past close. The polite thing to do would have been to come to the window to acknowledge me. They literally showed their true colors. To make matters worst, I didn’t see a single person of color in that store. I’m not sure if it was a form of racial discrimination or coincidence that I was dealing with a bunch of rude and disrespectful pack. I am not trying to portray myself as a victim here because I don’t truly know the reason behind the act, but this post is mainly about the bad experience. The petty side of me really wants to expose them by uploading a video of the...
Read moreWe just had the worst experience we have ever had at any Chick-fil-a restaurant.
My husband and I pulled up to the right side drive through because there was one car on the other side and we assumed that once their order was taken we would receive service. Although cars began to line up behind us, nobody ever came on the speaker. At least 3 cars received service on the other side, but we couldn't even back up because of the vehicles behind us, who probably assumed that we were the problem.
I finally got out of the car and told my husband I would walk inside to put in our order and try to alert the manager or someone who might care that customers are being ignored. I was almost to the sidewalk when 2 girls suddenly popped up with their iPads to take orders.
Even then, our girl was so clueless that the car in the other lane went long before she could key in our order. When we got to the window, the young lady tried to hand our drink carrier out to us without even noticing that one of the drinks had fallen over somehow and was pouring out the bottom. Not to be deterred, she plucked them right out and handed us the STILL DRIPPING cups, and refilled the cup that had spilled, but didn't even put the lid back on correctly.
Nobody apologized or even acknowledged that we had been sitting and waiting all that time. We will...
