I frequent Starbucks almost everyday, and am at this location several times a week. I’ve been understanding of the weird hours and short staff. I’ve been understanding of the new employees that are still learning. Those things are happening at most Starbucks. (Shoutout to the Friendship Rd/211 location for ALWAYS being awesome!) I am not, however, understanding of an IDGAF attitude. Came through Monday afternoon and ordered a venti Caramel Frapp for my boyfriend, no whip - his usual. Paid, tipped, noticed the new guy at the window wasn’t friendly at all but shrugged it off. Got the Caramel Frapp, boyfriend tried it, made me try it - it has zero flavor. Tastes like straight up blended ice, no caramel syrup in the cup, no drizzle. When the guy brought my macchiato, I told him the problem and he took the cup and replied, “Um, okay.” Shut the window and disappeared. Comes back with what seemed to be the same Frappuccino dumped in a cup that contained about 1/2 cup of caramel syrup. Not blended to add anything, just filled the cup with caramel, dumped in the Ice blend and dumped more syrup on top. The Frapp still tasted like ice but who knew that straight caramel syrup actually tastes alcoholic? He tried to stir it together with his straw but it just made it melt faster. We just left at that point, I shouldn’t have to beg you to do your job correctly. We have always loved Starbucks and seldom complain, and never leave bad reviews. But when I spend an average of $20 a day with a company I expect quality service and merchandise. The flavor of the drinks has lacked consistency for awhile and I’ve chalked it up to a high turnover rate, but even when they’ve been clueless they’ve been friendly and done their best. This guy obviously didn’t care at all, and after that experience we will be spending our money at our local mom and pop coffee shop. They don’t have a drive thru, but it’s worth walking inside to get...
Read moreEmployees so rude we won't be returning. We came into this location on Halloween. The girl wearing the scarecrow costume that took our order was very pleasant. The lady making drinks was clearly under stress, but when she talked to the man about his drink she had forgotten twice, she did it with tact. Now having worked in the service industry in the past I understand there is stress when things get busy. However, that gives no employee the right to be snarky and rude to your customers for no reason. Today my family came into your store on our way home from my mother's funeral. After crying as much as I have, the only thing that helps my sore face is warm drinks. I ordered a chai latte and cake pop for my toddler. I could see the guy working the food was busy but having already received my chai I was patiently waiting by the counter. I didn't say anything, I was waiting until he was finished just incase the ticket had fallen off. The guy looked up and asked what I needed. I told him, "Just the cake pop." I told him "I get it but at least it is easy." Meaning I understand the hussle so it's fine, but at least grabbing the cakepop was easy. I don't know how he perceived it but he snapped that "but it isn't, its a lot." He was quite irritated despite me just standing there. Again I told him "I get it, there's a line outside." As he handed me the cake pop and with annoyance in his tone he snapped at me again reminding me that "well patience goes a long way." His attitude and nasty smirk was more than enough that we will never be returning. I get it, people have bad days, but you have no idea what your customers might be going through. Please remind your employee that kindness also...
Read moreHad an experience with a girl named Alexis who currentlt works here at the sardis church starbucks. She should not work here, or anywhere that deals with customers, for that matter. Very unprofessional!! Made my drink wrong and didnt notice until I got on parkway so I called and asked if I could get them to remake it when i got back in the area. She said, "well you better bring that drink back undrunk and full" . I took a picture of it and came back the next day, being i had a 4, 2, and 2 month old in the car and couldnt get back right away. I thought it was rude , and out of policy that it would be requested of me to bring my drink back to her "undrunk" and it rubbed me the wrong way. I came back the next day and asked for the drink with modifications (light ice, no water) so that it didnt taste all watery like it had the day before. Girl at window handed it to me and it tasted full of water. I handed it back and said Im so sorry but it isnt sweet enough I asked for no water. Then ALEXIS walked over and said to girl, What does SHE want (talking about me) . So rude... unreal. Right in front of me says that. Then alexis storms off and remakes the drink with no water. Hands it to me and says IS IT GOOD NOW? OK. HAVE A GOOD DAY! very sarcastically. Girl should not be working. Shame...
