Subway — Restaurant in Buford

I'm on food stamps, so I look for bargains wherever I can. Not long ago I got a mailer with some Subway coupons. I found one that said "FREE Bag of Chips when you buy a Footlong." That sounded like a bargain to me, so I headed off to Subway. I ordered a six-inch Steak and Cheese on flatbread and some Doritos. It wasn't busy, but I was surprised to find a woman working there all by herself on at 1:18 pm on Sunday afternoon. She made my sandwich just the way I like it and rang it up. The total came out to $10.37. I showed her the coupon and she said she doesn't accept coupons. It would have been nice if there was a sign to that effect at the counter and/or on the door, but I didn't see any indication that coupons were not accepted. Fortunately, I had enough money to pay the bill. It would be unfortunate if I had to leave without my food. In conclusion, in the future it would be helpful of customers knew about the "no coupons" policy...

I recommend you go an extra 10 mins to the next subway as the other review says. We live by lake lanier and this one is convenient for us but tonight's the last chance they'll ever get from us. I'll drive 30 mins to another one before i step foot in that one again. I'm typing this as i eat my $8 foot long of honey oat BREAD. The meat portions have always been way under what they should be but we've dealt with that for a while but I'm done. The owner/manager whatever she is snatched the scoop the worker was using and scraped 1/3 of the steak off the scoop she was using and then scattered it over the bread. She's done similar things before but we must be stupid and she realizes that since we keep coming back so she thinks its ok. Anywayssss...i had an aha moment this time and thought...if they're THAT skimpy on the food and veggies...what else are they skimping on?! Food for...

Would like to know what the point of having business hours are if you don't actually stay open during them. Walked into this subway, yes I understand it sucks when people walk in 15-20mins until closing, but there were other customers ordering in there as well. As we walked up someone inside (not even someone in uniform may I add) turned off the open sign and the lady behind the counter with tattoos rolled her eyes and made a comment about us coming in after the sign was turned off. This was all before they were supposed to be closed... It would've been different if we would've walked in and lady actually said sorry we're closed or something a long those lines.. But no just a smart ass comment. Will try to contact the manager in the morning hopefully it's wasnt one of the...
