My first visit was today. I had a coupon for a free burger which put an employee had dropped off at my work. I ordered a burger, onion rings and a chocolate milk shake. Since it was my first visit I did not realize that the burger will be loaded with tons of mustard and onions. My chocolate malt milk shake was not delivered with my meal. I asked the man taking orders three times for the chocolate milkshake and three times for ketchup. He finally came out with a vanilla milkshake, and I decided to give up on eating there again. After the third time that I asked for ketchup, he brought three regular ketchup's, and 2 spicy ketchup. My burger was cold by then. When I reached for the regular ketchups that he had, he dropped 2 on the table and walked off with the rest. I told him that I did not want the spicy, and he said it's not that spicy and left one on the table, as he walked away with the ketchup that I have been asking for nearly fifteen minutes. The man seemed genuinely nice but was more into talking to people than into getting their orders ready and getting things right. I saw a lot of people getting annoyed because he wouldn't stop talking when they just wanted to get their food. I understand that customer service is important and friendliness is important, but getting the job done is the primary goal, while customer service and friendlines are included. By the time I got what I asked for, over and over again my burger was cold and I didn't want the milkshaje that was delivered to me because it was the wrong one. I ended up leaving because my burger was soggy and cold by the time I got what...
Read moreI had been wanting to visit a whataburger for quite a while. I was excited to try a new burger place. There was one other customer seated when I walked in and one other customer in front of me. I had a coupon for a free burger, and I ordered onion rings an a chocolate malt milkshake. It took more than five minutes for the customer in front of me to get his order in because the person taking the order would not stop talking about this and that. When my order was taken out to my table my chocolate malt was not included. I asked for it several times and I asked for ketchup several times. I spoke directly to the person who took my order and asked again for my chocolate malt milkshake and showed him my receipt. After about 5-8 minutes he brought a milkshake out. It was vanilla. I had to ask for ketchup two more times. I asked for a lot of ketchup, but when he came out with it five minutes later he had three regular ketchups and two spicy ketchups in his hand. I told him thank you for bringing the ketchup, but I did not want the spicy. He said the spicy was not that spicy and left 2 on the table and 2 of the regulars that I had asked for a lot of (over and over). By the time I finally got the ketchup, my burger was completely soggy. When I opened it to put the ketchup on, I found that it was loaded with mustard and onions. I tried to eat the burger, and got almost halfway through it, but the meat was chewy and I couldn't even taste the meat. The onion rings were some kind of gross frozen stuff. I was tired and hungry after work, and the hassle, fumbles, kind of gross food, was NOT...
Read moreFor quite a while Google kept saying this location was open when it wasn’t. I originally wrote a review giving it one star because of that. I can say now for sure, it has opened. Placed a curbside order and it went fine. Wasn’t suite ready on time but not too long afterwards. It just opened so I’m sure they’re still working out any kinks. When I’ve ordered from Culver’s, it’s always late also so no biggie as long as the order is correct and tastes fine. The very first time I tried a Whataburger was from the Buford location on 20. I wasn’t overly impressed but have since done a couple of orders on Lanier Islands Parkway and now Hamilton Road and have enjoyed it more. I think it was just that I may have had higher expectations the first time but since these other two locations are closer there’s no reason for me to go back to 20 and compare. This Hamilton Mill location only has three curbside spaces and they only let you pick up through the drive thru after 10;00 pm. That time seems to be different at different locations. I don’t understand that policy, a couple of other fast food places limit that option also, so what’s the difference if you pick up from the drive thru because the order is already bagged up and it doesn’t seem like it.would be very difficult to just grab it and hand it to you. The whole point of online ordering is for convenience. Not sure if those are corporate or location policies, but it should be...
