Sand Bar Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Bullhead City

While at a nearby restaurant celebrating a friend's anniversary we were told about this place. We made a plan to check it out later that evening. When we arrived I was not expecting it to be the size it was. There was enough seating for all 9 of us and then some plus a pool table and a bar to sit at. There is also a pool table in the covered outside patio and plenty of seating out there as well. They had another sitting area that was completely outside with picnic type tables. Most of the indoor and outdoor seating were those high tables and chairs. They had a couple sets of fatty and shorty friendly shorter chairs and tables both inside and out. The drinks were great and the prices were reasonable. I got buzzed off less than $15. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We went to the Sandbar on an early Friday evening. It was fairly quiet. The service was mainly quick, but I gotta tell you, the bartender got on my bad side pretty darned quick. She greeted us with a how you doing and what can I get you? This quickly transitioned to her, looking me straight in the eye, taking a step back and waving her hand in back & forth in front of her face and saying to me "ooh, YOU REEK." I apologized awkwardly, got my bottle of water and moved away from her. We headed out to the enclosed patio, my husband played a few games of pool. Jud the bar tender does the best service I’ve ever had. Houston the cook makes the best food! Best chicken wings I’ve ever had! Ask for the kitchen sink dip! The burger was sooo good!
