Pros: very good food including this fried cheese dough dish, four dip platter and the chicken. Another pro is a ton of pita and free parking in the neighborhood is easy to find if you don’t mind walking 1-5 minutes.
Cons: the food came out too quick and the service was too slow. We went on Valentine’s Day and it seemed they were understaffed or we were working with an inexperienced waiter because we had to make eye contact EVERY SINGLE TIME to get our waiters attention - in total we were there for one hour and 45 minutes, not ideal. While the service was slow, the food came out too quick, let me explain. We ordered the pre-fixed meal and so first they brought out the pita and cold appetizers. Then a few minutes later, they brought out more food and then nearly 3-5 minutes later when we hadn’t finished anything, they brought out the heated food aka the main dishes with Chicken Kabob, Chicken Skewers, rice and veggies. However we didn’t want the food to get cold and our table had no space for all that and drinks. So after 10-12 minutes of trying to get our waiters attention, we ere finally able to get them to take the warm food back in the kitchen. Another con is the rice was plain and we told them we didn’t eat beef and they still gave us a beef appetizer dish which then took another 10-12 minutes to remind them we are not red meat eaters to get that taken away and replaced with more falafel balls, which we’re okay but certainly can count better falafel balls I’ve had in my life time.
We will never come back here again, maybe to go order will be a better situation but unsure it’s worth the...
Read moreI had gotten there right before 6:30 had ordered my appetizers along with my entries shortly after Arriving 10 minutes later, I had added feta cheese Fast-forward 45 minutes later, I was sitting with just the feta cheese for 30 minutes on my table now I’ve been there for about an hour and a half Then was when the salad had arrived, which looked like it was anything but fresh When the shrimp appetizer arrived, it was pretty much flavorless. I had asked the waiter for a side of olive oil. He said he wasn’t sure if they had That he would check He never came back with it meanwhile, it’s all over their menu He seemed a little brain dead And unfortunately, he was the only person working They had majority of the stuff wrong with the order I had gotten a lentil soup had no lentils at all My Entrées Was completely wrong When I mentioned something to the owner about two hours in and still hadn’t had my entrées, he said sometimes things like this happen Which is insane this is the first time in my life that I’ve ever felt like I was being robbed paying the bill. Worst Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to. Oh yeah, and a party of 15 had arrived, which had gotten their food 10 minutes later It just completely didn’t make sense. Whoever considers this to be a good restaurant knows nothing about food not even worth...
Read moreEverything is fantastic and this is their second location. Their first location was in Glendale and this one is in Burbank. You definitely will enjoy their food their bar, their drinks and their service. I’ve been going to Elena‘s at least the first location for many years and this one has been open for the last 45 months and it definitely blew me away and the size is huge but the food and drinks are great I would definitely, have you try to place if you haven’t been to Elena’s but specially ask for their lentil soup, in addition to their assortment of different dishes, as one order to try all their different types of food. The price for what you get is definitely worth every penny it’s not the cheapest but it’s not very expensive either so give it a try and no I’m not being paid...
