My cup was gooey like syrup on the bottom when I ordered hotcakes & lg coffee today at 8:30AM, and its all over my hand. So:
I asked for an empty cup to put the sticky cup in. Simple? No. The woman at the counter didn't understand. She gestured to another employee, and I repeated the whole thing over. He waved his hands and said "no cup". So, I spoke slowly, pointing at the bottom of the cup, explained for the third time. The customers behind me are quiet, watching this charade.
His hands "no no, no empty cups". This had become a Larry David episode. I waved towards the back, "you got plenty of empty cups!" Somehow as if by osmosis he produced an empty cup that I placed the contaminated cup in, and I thanked him. I didn't waste more time trying to communicate for a wet napkin to clean my hands. Why wasn't there a bilingual manager or employee in this place?
I've been coming here since 2005 and the past few months have been a nightmare. Incorrect orders, wrong charges, and long waits. Competent managers are randomly here one day then gone the next. There was a young woman with braids, a man who was military sharp, and another older woman who were fluently bilingual. Vanished. Does McDonalds expect me to learn Spanish? I travel for a living, and I speak in the French speaking, German and Slavic countries because that's their language they expect to hear. Here in the USA I know how to speak English.
I do not have an issue with the employees here, they are trying to do their jobs and they work hard at it. But there is poor management policy. Whats up...
Read moreTerrible online/app service I ordered online around 3:20. I went to pick up my food. Payment couldn't go through the system was updating. Ok, "it'll be up an running again around 30-40min." I wait. Go pick up my food. "The system never processed it because it was updating." Ok no problem. I'll just reorder it again. I try to. Lunch is no longer available. Breakfast only. No lunch. Oh man... Ok no worries I'm hungry so I don't mind breakfast. I submit my order. Pull up to the window. Night manager, "Breakfast is not served at this time. Only lunch" Not this is a problem! I am unable to order lunch. Because the McDonald's app does not allow lunch after X time. (Early morning time) I put in a breakfast order. But the store manager informs me they cannot cook the order because they are still cooking lunch.
Not good. I cannot order lunch on the app because the app says it's breakfast only. I cannot order breakfast because the store manager says it's lunch only. Point is I cannot order. I just wanna eat something.
Solution: Fix the app relative to the correct breakfast/ lunch times of the store. Or Alline the store in parallel to the apps time for breakfast/lunch after the system update.
Please fix. I may be hangry but this shouldn't take this long to notice this problem or fix it since the pandemic. I'm sure I'm not the only one with late night munchies left with a bad taste in my mouth from this experience. Actually no taste, I couldn't...
Read moreUPDATE: came here for the newly released Cactus Plant Flea Market Adult Happy Meal and the service was impeccable!!! the restaurant was already SUPER BUSY with morning breakfast orders so when it came to my turn, i was able to quickly order this limited edition meal. My cashier with the two little pony tails was super polite, sweet and extremely helpful. ONE THING ABOUT THIS MCDONALD'S IS THEY ARE ACTUALLY VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE!!! other stores, not so much! the Manager (a petite lady with her hair in a pony tail) was SOOOOO ACCOMMODATING AND NICE and even though she was SOOOOOO BUSY she always took the time out to listen to my additional requests with my large order. on a side note, there was a mildly irate woman (karen) who almost seemed to get to the boiling point because she was waiting 2 mins too long but the sweet natured cashier immediately took care of her and she went back down to a simmer without exploding. I, personally, started the day HORRIBLY with a parking ticket ($73.00) so i wasn't in the best mood but after dealing with the amazing staff at the burbank olive restaurant, i totally (for the moment) forgot about my terrible parking ticket and was pleasantly cared for by a fast paced feverishly busy McDonald's staff! thank you so much to the burbank restaurant. i will always return to...
