We recently placed an order through the Panda Express online app for a Family Meal and picked it up in-store. The ordering process was smooth, and the estimated wait time was reasonable. However, we were pleasantly surprised when our food was ready even quicker than expected—a definite plus for a busy evening.
For our meal, we selected White Steamed Rice, Super Greens, The Original Orange Chicken, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, Beijing Beef, and added an extra Mushroom Chicken.
Starting with the highlights, The Original Orange Chicken was exactly what we expected—crispy, tangy, and sweet with that signature orange glaze. It remains a fan favorite for a reason. The Mushroom Chicken was also a hit, with tender chicken, fresh mushrooms, and zucchini in a light but flavorful sauce.
Unfortunately, not all the dishes lived up to our expectations. The Beijing Beef was decent but didn’t stand out compared to the Orange Chicken. The Super Greens were fresh and provided a nice balance to the meal, though they were on the garklcky side. The White Steamed Rice was standard—nothing special, but it did its job as a neutral base.
The biggest letdown was the Honey Sesame Chicken Breast. It had a very starchy texture and lacked the vibrant flavor we were hoping for. It didn’t quite match the quality of the other entrées, and we wouldn’t order it again.
The pickup process was quick and easy. When I arrived, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and my food was already packed and ready. The employees were polite, though there wasn’t much interaction beyond handing me the order. The packaging was sturdy, and everything was still warm when I got home.
Overall, our experience at Panda Express was a mix of highs and lows. While the Orange Chicken and Mushroom Chicken were great, the Honey Sesame Chicken Breast was a disappointment, and the rest of the dishes were just okay. Read moreThis place is the worst. Dont get me wrong. I love panda, but this particular restaurant is poorly managed. I've lived in the area for years and have been here countless times. The employees dont seem to care about the quality of food or fulfilling orders correctly. I wouldn't be writing a review if this was the first bad experience I had here but its seems the more I go the worse it gets. I work late so I'm always eating dinner around 9-11pm. Its obvious the employees dont want to stay there after they close. They make you feel as if it's a problem when you order something that is not out on display. The cooks have everything cleaned by 10pm. They give you 15 to 20 min wait times to get an item made to keep you from ordering the item. . . I order it anyways. I have no where to be and its only 10:30 PM. That is 30 minutes before closing time. It shouldn't be a problem. I am paying customer after all. Other times I've gone threw the drive through and on multiple occasions they forget my items. I've learned to open my plates to make sure I'm getting what I've ordered. It is time consuming and a hassle but it's better than getting home only to be disappointed with the wrong items. I hope this place improves for the sake of my convenience. Read moreThis Panda always seems to get orders wrong 😡 specially if you go to the drive thru. Missing or wrong items...make sure you take your time and double check your order before you leave. It seems as if it's on purpose. Seriously. And if you go inside to fix the problem, you are met with very rude employees. It just happened to me for the 11th time, LOL...I went inside because they did not give me my drinks, I was missing an item and didn't get a receipt. I was waiting at the drive thru window for a long time and no one came to help. So inside I went. Told cashier my order was wrong. She asked for my receipt and I told her drive thru person didn't give me one. She had such a bad attitude. I was polite and requested to speak with someone else if she could not help me. Finally, I talked to someone else who gave me the drinks and the missing item. Still didn't get a receipt, though I asked for one. I was in a hurry so I had to leave. This took longer than expected.
