Fish Dish — Restaurant in Burbank

I've enjoyed everything I've ordered here. It's one of my go to places to eat a quick, but delicious meal in Burbank. It's located in the small "strip mall" next to the Burbank airport. Before the pandemic there was a self serving salsa/condiment bar. Their "hot" salsa is delicious! I used to always get lots of salsa. I have a fairly high tolerance for spicy food, but their "hot" salsa doesn't even register on my heat scale.

My go to orders are the fried shrimp burrito (no avocado) and the salmon plate (with brown rice and coleslaw). The shrimp are pan fried (not breaded) and has rice, salsa, and their amazing chipotle sauce (my mouth is watering just thinking of it). The burrito is also served with a side of chips. The salmon plate is served with two side (choice of brown rice, white rice, fries, or coleslaw) and garlic bread. Their garlic bread is so yuuuumy! I usually get the salmon with garlic butter, the brown rice and coleslaw.

Sadly, their prices have risen, their portions have shrunken, and they've become very stingy with their salsa. They'll only give you one salsa per order. You have to beg just to get one extra. Last time I went, I even offered to pay for extra salsa and they still wouldn't give me more than two! I get that they have to be mindful of their supplies, but if the customer is offering to pay for extra, shouldn't that be an option?

They accept phone orders. If you're planning on picking up your did, I'd suggest calling in your order in advance as they can get busy at certain times of the day (especially on weekends). They also deliver through the usual food...

I was absolutely disgusted by the service I received today I’ve been a Fish Dish customer for over a year. I originally was going to the one in North Hollywood because it’s closer but because they closed I started to come to Burbank I like my Salmon not over cooked and that’s all I asked for when I got it , it was burnt I politely asked the waitress for it to be cooked medium like I asked she gave me the worst attitude ever! I asked to speak with a manager she stated she was the manager I asked can I speak with the owner she was like no you can leave or I can call the police because we have the right to refuse service after going back and forth with me she called the owner I spoke with him and she continued to be loud and obnoxious he asked her to take him off speaker and let me speak to him in the mist of that the cook was like she didn’t tell me you wanted it medium I could have made it she then gets to arguing with him the owner apologized but it wasn’t sincere at all because I’m guessing that’s his gf I was so embarrassed I cried I will never be back I hate that I received this horrible treatment today all because I wanted...

Just wanted some fish tacos or something similar, so we stopped here for a quick bite. It looks like a regular strip-mall chain type of place, but the staff and food quality set it apart. The customer service was superb. The young lady who took our order gave me an excellent t recommendation based on what I told her I desired. So, instead of fish tacos I went with the shrimp pasta linguine. It comes served in a garlic butter or Cajun sauce. She recommended I get a combination of both sauces drizzled on it, so I took her suggestion. I enjoyed it thoroughly and the price was reasonable. My friend had a chicken burrito with sweet potato fries, which he said was good too (also pictured). I would recommend this to anyone who likes seafood in an easy, relaxed atmosphere. It’s just across the street from the Burbank Marriott Airport also, so it can be accessed daily on foot if you’re staying there and want something delicious nearby. {*Note: I had begun eating when I took the photos, so the initial presentation was better...
