I feel like, for whatever reason, I’ve been compelled to speak on the current service given in the places I tend to patron locally here in the Burbank/North Hollywood area.
First let me acknowledge that this location typically has good service. However, today Thursday.September.24.2020 @ around 7:30pm I felt a familiar feeling of disappointment in the local service given.
Today is my 18th day of fasting from all solid foods. I am a casual Whole Foods Shopper despite the fact that I do not fall with in Whole Foods Target Market. Though I am not consuming food I do intake fresh juices.
If I’m not mistaken The Coffee & Juice Bar at the Burbank location, via google maps, closes @8:00pm
So I’m not totally sure why I was told that A (Green Lemonade Juice) could not be made for me @ around 7:30pm.
I’ve worked in retail before, I’ve had closing shifts, I have a juicer at home so I know how annoying it is to clean it,I know how it feels to want to start cleaning up early but if that is the case, may I suggest you change the hours. I live in North Hollywood and I specifically came to this location to get a fresh juice under the assumption that juice/smoothies were no longer being made after (8:00pm) Not 7:30.
Update 9/29/20 I attempted to get a juice/smoothie here the following day but this time I called first to ask if they were making smoothies/juices between 7:30p and 8:00p. I pretty much got the same answer except they stated that they would do me the "favor" of going ahead and preparing it for me and letting me come pick it up. Then the young man goes on to offer me a mobil number to place my order in advance. He stated that its busy a lot so that's a tool they use to ease congestion. There Literally was no-one in line at the juice bar at that time of day. That is probably why they are compelled to start clean up so early.
There is a very specific reason I get my juices/smoothies later in the day. First of all, whenever I patron Whole foods its usually after rush hour, that is intentional. Further more, I shouldn't even have to explain any of this. I should be able to get the same service as those who shop morning and mid day. Or simply just shorten the hours. It takes only a few minutes to make these drinks. I don't understand what the issue is.
Hey this level of service may be standard for this location but all I’m asking is to let your customers know.
Update: 9/29/20 Now I travel an extra 6.5 Miles to the Glendale, California Location for fresh made juices and smoothies, around the same time as when I went to the Burbank Location, they are much more efficient, pleasant and...
Read moreI went into this Whole Foods with the intention of purchasing a specific snack they usually carry. The store did not have the product so I decided to look around and see if there was anything else I needed. As I walked around the hot bar area to see what food was available a security member was blatantly staring at me and the person I was with, and following us at a distance of a few feet as we attempted to browse the foods. How I would've stolen a big box of sushi is beyond me, but maybe the reality that my boyfriend and I were simply browsing was too difficult a concept to comprehend for this security guard. I picked up an item in the dairy aisle and headed to produce. As I was looking at the fruit and smelling different ones to pick what I wanted, I noticed yet another security person glaring at us as he(security guard) walked towards the exit to block it. I looked around for a plastic bag and proceeded to move towards another island to grab a bag as the one I was at did not have bags. As I moved, two employees were whispering and one pointed at my boyfriend and I standing in the produce section. I felt extremely uncomfortable trying to just decide on which item I wanted without having several employees breathing down our necks and intimidating us. It was humiliating to walk into a store and immediately be profiled as shoplifting. Only one employee addressed us in the store and spoke kindly to us at the check-out area.
Saying these employees were "doing their job" is completely unacceptable. It's a sorry excuse. I would be absolutely embarrassed to know my employees and security were intimidating and creating a hostile environment for store patrons. As someone who has worked in retail, it's disappointing to know that these employees had no concept of understanding the difference between store patrons and shoplifters, as well as being the recipient of employees severely lacking customer service skills that allow customers to feel welcomed, helped, and inclined to return. Needless to say, this experience was highly disappointing, I could not be less impressed by the employees at this...
Read moreThis is a review specifically for the Amazon Prime department of this store. Be sure to ALWAYS get a receipt when making returns to Amazon here!!!!
I have reason to believe an item I returned, was not sent to Amazon themselves but instead was kept by someone working the returns desk that day. Prompting a huge mess on MY end.
I received an order from Amazon. I can acknowledge this purchase was risky—as is most things on Amazon. I took the gamble, because returns are smooth and easy. I have also had great luck and experiences ordering the same thing from Amazon before. It was trading cards. Amazon’s return policy is great and I had no issues with previous orders. Until someone decides to steal the item you’re returning to this Whole Foods—and it’s something in high demand, looking like a score on the surface.
I filed a formal complaint that included pictures, with Amazon about the order—it came completely opened, all packs inside sliced, missing 6 packs, the whole nine yards. Bummer. I returned the item because clearly I don’t want to keep something I was scammed of. Presented my QR code and was told I was good to go—as always. Never had an issue. But after 10 days Amazon had no record of it being returned. I don’t know if this specific thing is store dependent or store wide—I was told (by Amazon) that there is a log of everything scanned, so even though I was missing my return receipt the store MUST have it in the system still.
No, this store said they don’t keep a log of anything they scan for Amazon returns. My return was nowhere to be found, and there was no way of verifying with this store specifically that the item was scanned to be sent to Amazon. But the item probably was not scanned at all to begin with. So this store isn’t trustworthy with Amazon returns, once you drop it off there’s nothing that can be done after you drop it off, they do/don’t scan it and you don’t have the...
