In the vast landscape of breakfast joints, finding a spot that feels like home yet surprises your palate is a rarity. Enter Salmon Creek Cafe, a beacon of morning warmth and culinary delight. This humble establishment isn't just a place to eat; it's where flavors and friendliness intertwine in a heartwarming embrace.

A standout is their Breakfast Mac and Cheese, an innovative twist that could easily become the headliner of your morning cravings. Prepared with a care topped with argula, this dish brilliantly melds hearty comfort food with the freshness of the morning, setting a high bar for breakfast innovation.

Adding an extra layer to their culinary prowess, the cafe's homemade hot sauce is a revelation. It's not just about the heat; it's the superb balance of flavors that makes every drop a treasure. Accompanying this are seasonings that elevate each dish, ensuring that every bite is not just consumed, but experienced. Whether it's a dash on your eggs or a generous swirl in the Mac and Cheese, the hot sauce and seasonings demonstrate Salmon Creek Cafe's commitment to flavor nuances and quality.

Final Thoughts: In a world bustling with endless dining options, Salmon Creek Cafe stands out not just for its food, but for the genuine connection it fosters with each guest. Had the WORST experience here this morning. We've been coming to Salmon Creek for brunch for a while now. We've brought family and recommended this place countless times. Afrer today we won't be back and we will never recommend again.

We went for brunch knowing very well the day and time of day we went. We loved this place this much we were ready to wait for a table. We order steak and eggs and biscuits and gravy. The steaks were ordered med and were served medium well and well done making them extremely chewey and they lacked any kind of flavor. We picked at the food and tried to eat was served to us. We didn't complain due to the busyness and sense of overwhelm by the wait staff and honestly, we didn't want to wait for new steaks to be made. At the end of the meal the waitress came to clear the table and asked how the meal was. We were honest in expressing our feelings about the food and half way through telling the waitress our experience she told us to get out and leave. We advised her we weren't looking for a free meal and we're willing to pay our tab we were merely answering her " how was your meal" question. She rudley walked away and again said to "get out".

After talking to her again at the counter and trying to inform her that we would like to pay the bill and we were just answering her question, she again asked me to leave.

Good luck if you decide to go here. The food USED...

Simply amazing place for coffee, relax, check social media and have an incredible breakfast. I came in at 8:10 am being the first to arrive. There still was a crisp fall chill as they had just opened. I warmed up as I drank my steaming cup of coffee.

I had the biscuits and gravy that was obviously on large square homemade biscuits covered in sausage gravy with a touch of jalapenos in the sauce that made its subtle spicing perfection. I ordered eggs over-medium and they actually were over-medium, not easy. The food is exceptional and I relaxed with my endless cup of coffee in a ceramic cup; not paper as I studied the ingredients and spices in the gravy.

If only I could have stayed in a coffee coma ...

... realized the television being turned on, it's now 1/2 packed. The jabber of the incoherent noise coming from the television over the great mood music destroyed the ambiance and casual chill. I wasn't alone anymore, I can hear a laugh, the clatter of dishes, a conversation and a toddler staring mesmerized at the television over the bar.

I have mixed feelings even posting this review as I want it to stay my secret. Also, it's so wonderful to arrive just as they open and have it all to myself, at...

My only real complaint was having to wait over 45 minutes for a table so I was pretty hangry by the time we sat down. My lavender moca didn't have any lavender flavor and it was really hard to find a hearty breakfast item I could eat since I don't eat beef or pork. Some veggie sausage gravy, turkey bacon, chicken sausage, farmers market hash, and pancakes would make this place top tier. Service was a little unorganized - every time they brought something to the table they didn't know who it was for and it was hard to hear from the end of the table with they were saying they had. I ended up getting avocado toast and added stuff to it to make it filling and it was okay. Breakfast potatoes could be a little crispier although hashbrowns would be even better. The highlight for me was the warm pecan pie. Probably the best I've ever had. My friend also loved the key lime pie. I will definitely love to come back for pie, but I think they are always busy on weekends.
