Rainbow Mini Mart — Local services in Burien

Since new owner took over, this place has gone downhill. My husband and I have gone to Rainbow Mini Mart for over two years now, picking up snacks and drinks before and after work. Workers were always nice and conversational. A few weeks ago we were waiting in our car in the parking lot at around 7:15AM (fifteen minutes after opening hours) and the mini mart was still closed. Someone in a black car pulled up, boxed us in, and then proceeded to honk at us. We didn't move because 1) we weren't given a lot of space to move and 2) every single parking spot was open besides the one we were in. After not moving, the black car pulled up aggressively next to us (taking up two spots, not bothering to park properly), rolled down the windows, and demanded to know what we were doing. The store was supposed to be open 15 minutes ago but it was locked. Turns out he was the new owner, and we were in his parking spot. Please note there is NO signage stating it is a reserved spot. He proceeded to yell at us and tell us never to come here again. Fine by us, if that is how you are going to treat paying customers. I purchased a huge bag of bacon bits from rainbow mart..once I got home,I poured some on my noodles then saw bits of color blue..it was mold!..after a few days I returned to rainbow mart to returned item..the elderly guy told me I should've returned it at once!..I didn't know it was moldy..then he said I should've came back the next day but I told him I didn't have time coz I was working then he response its...

My family has been going to Rainbow mart for 30 years. Its convenient for us - just a few blocks away. The employees are friendly and they know me so well that my cigarettes are usually sitting on the counter before i get up there... We get a christmas gift from the store almost every year too.... I have a hand towel that says rainbow mini mart on it from 15 years ago........
