Taqueria vellavista — Restaurant in White Center

First and last time here. They completely messed up my order and my food was sloppily thrown together. I went back to get it fixed and the woman working there was dismissive and rude. Also, I still ended up having to pay for an item that was supposed to be included but wasn't the first time around. I didn't want to create more of an issue, so I did pay, but if you mess up someone's order and waste their time you should not charge them for your mistake! I was treated as if I was lying and the whole situation was just uncomfortable for me... The lady working there didn't even apologize to me afterwards, she rudely told me to check my food after they re-did it and moved on to the next customer. Aside from this, the food was not even good. The tacos were extremely salty, while the rice and beans lacked flavor. Definitely don't...

We love this place! Close enough to walk to for us, so we visit them every week or two for a quick dozen tacos for the family.

We had one order one time where the cook didn't season the meat and it was bland, but that was out of 10-20 times that were all great. We can usually get a dozen tacos and a couple huge burritos for $20 out the door--the well-known chains cannot provide this value, not even close.

Being from Arizona myself, I am typically turned off by the prices Mexican food costs here in western WA. I used to go to Taqueria Rinconsito a lot, but 5 tacos and a drink with them is over $10 now. No thanks--they are pricing themselves out of budget-minded family business.

This place delivers, though, and the quality is just as good....

Super cool idea! You get into a renovated bus and can sit down on little stools. It has a really authebtic atmosphere, a lot like food trucks you'd find in Mexico, and me and my mom were the only ones in here not speaking Spanish (I always take that as a plus for the yumminess of the food.) It's small but the food is really yummy and you get a ton. I got the steak burrito and an orchata. The register who took my order spoke great English, and it was out super fast. We came for the novelty of a taco bus and loved the food!...
