What a wonderful bar. I’m sure that you could classify this as a “dive” bar, but there is a much deeper heart in this place. They have had fundraisers for their patrons before due to unforeseen circumstances. They have invited the local population to join their community. And, recently, they also helped me out by allowing my dogs to get out of the heat when we needed it.

The prices are lower than the usual. The atmosphere is what it is supposed to be. The clientele is older, but I love that. It just makes sense as a bar. Every single town needs to have a bar just like this. It’s small town care.

Went there to see live music. Was very disappointed as the patrons sitting at the bar kept complaining about the music being too loud. After it was all said and done you couldn't hear the band at all. This was a Friday night so come on folks, stay home if you want peace and quiet. I noticed at the beginning of the evening the place was pretty crowded with people there for the same reason I was and the more the sound got turned down, the thinner the crowd got. For this place to go from being "the spot" to kick it in the weekend to the fossilized skeletal remains of the Neanderthals that had no business being outside of the nursing home at that hour baffled me. Saw the owner get in a woman’s face and then sent her to walk home which I’m used to seeing undersized bars helping people with a drive home not sending them out to walk and then calling the cops to set them up for failure.
