We've been going to Gabriel and Daniel's for a while whenever we have sports at Murray Field. The whole staff there is so friendly. Plus, their food is just awesome. So when it came time for a party, we knew they would be the perfect fit. We worked with Leonor who was fabulous to figure out the menu for 30 people. I was happy to pick up the entire order to go at their restaurant, but they said they had an option to deliver and set up. I was not expecting much but they absolutely overdelivered and then some. They said they needed around a half hour to set up at our house, which seemed like a while to me, but I totally trusted them, and I knew they knew what they were doing. Sure enough they ended up being so thoughtful and patient were basically food artists in how everything was prepared and presented. Leonor and Gabriel brought frames with descriptions of every dish including a dispenser for the horchata. My wife and I were totally blown away with not only the quality and presentation, but how above and beyond we felt they went for our event. We had most of the items on their menu, including fajitas, quesadillas, burritos, guacamole, and a few other things. There were several different types of sauces and dips too. All of our friends commented how phenomenal the food was, and we were really glad to share a new restaurant that many of them were not familiar with. We hope the others will see this review and consider catering with them for an event. You will not be...
Read moreWe looked for a restaurant close to the Bay Landing hotel where we were staying. We saw the reviews and decided to give this little place a try, and we're so glad we did!
It was a little hard to find and missed the turn because it's off the beaten path. You have to head toward Top Golf and drive past that building to a little building on the other side of the parking lot. The building didn't look like it would be a restaurant so we thought we got lost somewhere, and we didn't see their signs until we were right in front of the building. Walking up to the building after parking, we saw a sign that said to use the back entrance. Don't let all that deter you! This place was so worth the trouble finding it.
The lady at the counter was super friendly and welcoming. She suggested one of their specialties or the daily specials. My husband got the enchiladas, and it chose the fish tacos.
The presentation of the food was amazing. It looked so artistic, we felt a little bad for mucking up the artwork to eat it, but the food was amazing. Service was amazing. After we ate and paid the bill, she asked us to give her a minute because she had something for us first time customers. They gave us a couple churros that were just as amazing as our lunches.
The next time we come to San Francisco, we will definitely come here again. If you're in the area, I recommend giving them a try. You...

If they are busy, expect a fair amount of waiting for your food. These guys are working their butts off in a tiny kitchen, trying to create beautiful, delicious dishes that would normally be found in a gourmet restaurant.
We ordered the super quesadilla and the a la mexicana and they were delicious and gorgeous.
These guys need to be in a real restaurant location and I hope they find their way to one soon, because they could be a great restaurant.
In their current location they need to work out a few kinks, and they might not have the manpower for some of them.
If you want your drinks refilled, you have to take them to the counter and ask. When waiting on your food, it would help to have an order number that they call so you know for sure that the food on the counter is yours. It's not obvious whether you're supposed to clear your own dishes and set them near the counter, or leave them on your table. I saw people doing both while I was there.
Even with these inconveniences, I'm giving them 5 stars for making delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine in a cramped little clubhouse. I would come back, but I was just passing through, and live 2,000...
