let’s start by saying this hotel is not luxury or high-end in anyway and courtyards very greatly across the country and the world, but would that mean said the renovations of this hotel? I’ve been done very well and it is very nice. The beds are super comfortable and the air conditioner works really well. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast serve was really good although pricey the little store was out of a lot of things so I wasn’t happy about that but overall it was stocked enough for me to get something upon arrival. The front desk helped me get into a room early. I did have an issue and had to move rooms, but it was handled very well. It is an older hotel with the air conditioners sticking out the windows, but you really don’t notice because the renovations were done so very well and the price is pretty decent and being close to the airport is also a plus I hope this review helps you on your stay in San Francisco. additionally, it does have a refrigerator and a microwave. There’s an ice machine on every floor. It has a large TV that was very easy to hook my Amazon fire stick to and stream my services. It has a nice comfortable couch and table. The room is very large considering most hotels these days the bathroom was very nice and well done clean. They do serve Starbucks. I had a chai latte.

I spent three (3) nights at The Bayshore Hotel at the end of Feb 2024. The hotel was under construction (full remodeling). The website was very clear that there were zero amenities while under construction. Prior to my arrival I received a phone call from the hotel just reminding me about the construction and temporary lack of amenities. This was a very nice and thoughtful gesture. The room I stayed in was newly remodeled and beautiful. It was a good size and had everything I needed (desk, fridge, microwave, coffee pot). During my travel, the weather was terrible and in the middle of the night the entire neighborhood lost power. The staff were very helpful in ensure the guest comfort despite the issue being beyond their control. I would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to see the final product. (photos taken after the three day stay. It was much nicer upon arrival)

I would stay here if possible every single time I visit friends and family near Burlingame San Mateo San Francisco Foster City and Millbrae .. the best location to drive in and out. Fantastic experience!!! Safe , clean and amazing staff at the front desk and shuttle drivers. The parking always with security around and convenient for every Uber or car coming to drop or pick up. I stayed 5 days and was quite the best experience in many years.. thank you for the quality and hospitality to all the staff! The coffee spot is unbeatable! I was able to take my work virtual meetings in the mornings with a peaceful and clean space at the lobby.. the gym has all you need to work out … the guy at the front desk speaks different languages the water always available near the lobby .. and the list goes on .. thank you!

I booked this hotel for one night since I was flying into San Francisco in the evening and they offered an airport shuttle. I figured I would get a good night sleep before heading to Napa Valley for a family event. ||Let me begin by stating after a 5 1/2 hour flight from the East Coast, I landed at 8:15pm west coast time. I arrived at the shuttle station at 8:30 pm. ||I waited OVER AN HOUR for their airport shuttle. I called the hotel directly several times because I couldn’t understand why the shuttle had not arrived especially since I saw every hotel you can imagine drive to the hotel pick up location several times with the same exact driver. When calling the hotel there was absolutely no answer, I let the phone ring at times up to fifteen minutes. I finally got someone to pick up and he was so rude when I asked him the status of the shuttle. He kept cutting me off in mid conversation stating they only have one shuttle and it runs every 30 minutes, then he asked me where I was located and before I can finish telling him he would once again cut me off stating he only has one shuttle and the other hotels have many. ||So at this point I waited another 20 minutes which totals 45 minutes and I tried to call the hotel back again. This time, there was absolutely no answer. They obviously have caller ID and knew that it was me calling and why. ||Finally after waiting over an hour for the shuttle it arrived. I asked the shuttle driver if he was going to this hotel, (since there are two courtyards in the area and the address is not listed on the shuttle) even given him the address and he looked at me like I was crazy. He barely answered me so I had to repeat myself and then he said yes. He was very cold not welcoming and seemed annoyed that he had to drive me to the hotel. I couldn’t believe that he actually had signs up in the van stating tips are gladly accepted!!!! I know he could not possibly expect a tip when he dropped me off!!! I politely took my bag and kept moving inside. ||I finally arrived at the hotel at 10pm, because the shuttle is also shared with the Crown Plaza hotel and they were dropped off first. When I arrived at the hotel I was expecting them to be really busy especially since they didn’t answer the calls. To my surprise there was NO ONE CHECKING IN and the front desk representative was sitting there visibly relaxing on his cell phone! I was so exhausted I didn’t even get his name because I know that I’m going to receive a survey from Marriott and report all of this behavior.||Non the less, I got checked in and arrived to my room which was very roomy, clean and really comfortable. I jumped in the shower and there was no body wash shower soap in the pump at all and only one bar of soap was provided in the bathroom at the sink. Also the shampoo pump was also empty and the conditioner was barely full. ||Next up, my room was about 4 rooms down from the elevator and I can actually hear the ding of the elevator in my room all night. The walls here are paper thin at this hotel. I can hear everyone that walks by the room talking, I can even hear when the room next door flushes the toilet in the middle of the night.||My sister flew in the next morning and the plan was to take the shuttle to my hotel and we would rent a car close by to avoid the airport fees and head to Napa Valley. Well again!!! She landed at 7:30am and waited until 9am!!!!! NO SHUTTLE! She went back into the airport and rented the car from there to pick me up so I could get the heck out of this place. ||Obviously I did not get a good night sleep at this location and the shuttle situation was not just a one off evening thing. My advice to all travelers is to skip this hotel because if you do not it can ruin your entire vacation and leave you exhausted, tired and...

It is a wonderful hotel with friendly and kind staff. The lobby is bright and looks brand new. There are many different seating areas, from an indoor fireplace to the breakfast area, to the bar, or two different outside areas. The weather was stunning, and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. There is a walking path right on the property, so I had a good morning walk each day. The location was incredibly convenient, with SFO a 5 minutes shuttle ride away. I had to be in Downtown SF and in San Jose so I found the spot perfect for my needs. I used the shuttle to leave, and it came within 3 minutes of the time posted on a sign in the lobby. Sit next to the exit door as the shuttle driver doesn't really yell out to let people know he is there for airport drop-off. |The rooms were a great size, and I absolutely love the fact that there was a fridge and a microwave for my use as I was staying several days. Thank you! The bed and pillows were comfortable, and thankfully, I didn't hear any road or airport noises at all. The house staff was friendly and helpful when I needed some extra things. |Overall, if you want a clean, bright, remodeled hotel with nice staff, easily accessible to the cities around you, you found your hotel. I'll be a repeat customer when...
