This was my 3rd visit and I will never return. I review and inspect business etc for a living so to write a review outside of what I already have to do for work means it was really bad or really good. The service here is terrible. We arrived a little before 6pm and the entire center and right side of the dining room was completely open. VERY light in terms of customers. We wait 10 min before anyone comes to take our drink order. It takes another 5 min to get 2 sodas while there are 3 waitresses visibly "standing around". We get our drinks and then she leaves. She finally comes back to get our food order. The onion rings come out in a reasonable amount of time and they were tasty with an excellent dipping sauce. Eventually the food comes out and they bring me the wrong tacos. I catch one of the waitresses who I think may actually be the manager and she says she will check so she comes right back out with the tacos I ordered - the pulled Brisket tacos. They were a little salty but overall, pretty good. It comes with some chips and salsa and the salsa is like generic jarred bland salsa from the grocery store. OK, fine no worries. So we proceed to finish our meal. Not once, no NOT ONE SINGLE TIME did our waitress come to refill our drinks. My husband finally took the cups to the bar and refilled the drinks himself from the soda machine. We sat and waited and waited for the waitress to come back. Eventually we got a hostess to get our waitress so we could get our check. The waitress comes, and we ask for our check which she gets promptly this time. I have my card ready and I give it to her because there is no way I am going to wait for her to come and pick up my card. She brings back my card and ONE credit card receipt for me to sign and NO PEN. By this time my husband is so frustrated and upset that he has went to the car. I use my pen, tip - (yes I still tipped 15% even though the service was awful because waiters and waitresses generally don't make a living wage), and then snap a pic of the receipt since apparently they cant provide their customers a receipt. I am usually a pretty good tipper -20% ish. Well after poor service 3 times, I won't be back. Everyone can have an off night, but my observations here demonstrate a pattern showing total lack of interest in taking care of the customer. My family and I went to BWW in Burlington, Iowa, Saturday night. We sat at the table for about 10 minutes before we even saw our waitress. She forgot 2 of our 7 drinks even though she wrote the order down, and I had repeated the drinks to help keep it straight. When she was taking our appetizer order, my daughter asked for a straw to which she replied, "gimme a minute." (Um, excuse me?) When our appetizer came out, we had to ask a waiter for silverware and straws. We still didn't have napkins or plates. About 15 minutes later, my daughter had to go find the waitress so we could order dinner. We asked if it would be a long wait for the food (because everything was taking longer than need be, they were NOT busy at all, most of the tables were empty) and she said, "I don't know, it depends on how many to-go orders we get after I put in your order." How does that even make sense? We waited another 15 minutes... appetizer was long gone... 4 drinks were empty... the waitress walks by and didn't even glance in our direction. As she walked by, my other daughter asked for a refill and she said, "it's going to be a few minutes!" WHO DOES THAT?? I was fed up. We left. We went to the front counter to pay for what we had and the waitress walked by, saw we were very upset, and kept walking. She clearly didn't care at all. Out of staters here! Decided to get a few wings to go tonight since it was BOGO Traditional wings. We ordered 3 small orders (6 because of the BOGO) 36 wings total in 5 different flavors but apparently the kitchen thought it was okay to just group them together in 3 boxes... Any time we go to our location back home theyre brought out separately in their own boat, should be the same here right? Apparently not. Kids cant eat their wings cause theyre mixed in with our hot ones. I mean who the hell does that. All to save what, maybe a dollar total? Okay for arguments sake we wil say 2$ but dang. Boats arent that expensive, even the logo ones. Husband gets back with our food and the boxes are just a mess. Falling apart from the sauce... oh and lets address your ranch dressing, either its old or you're not properly storing it because my dressing had chunks in it. In multiple containers... and no it wasnt blue cheese either, I know the difference. Sorely disappointed with our experience and know to stear clear of this location if we're ever back...
