Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Burlington

Charged me $95 through 6 transactions because they refused to stop accepting card payments but TOLD people they were having issues. I had cash, I could have paid cash but they made no indication that the problem was that I would be charges SIX times. No one I know has that much money to just live without for DAYS, I have bills to pay and I'm down $80 (Because one of those transactions is valid, just not the other FIVE) for who knows how much longer?

This was Sunday, and come Wednesday, I still do not have this money because the transactions are STILL pending. I cannot access the money while it's pending, they have effectively stolen that money untill the transactions go through and I can dispute them with my bank.

Staff was unhelpful, shouldn't have even been taking card payments if they knew they had a problem like this, and failed to properly communicate the issue so I could have paid in cash. The food and drink I ordered was good but this has left me with a foul taste in my mouth and a desire to never visit any Dunn Brother's...

Dunn Brothers has become a very meaningful place in my life as I have made many friends just from striking up conversations with other college students and they always suggest going to this charming little place. About a year ago, the first drink I ever tried was the Chocolate Nirvana. Although, I’m not a coffee enthusiast by any means, the warm drink and warm company by my side felt a little big magical. Now, a few good friends and I come here often to enjoy various drinks I prefer the smoothies or teas mainly, but even the different coffee beverages have been a pleasant surprise regarding taste.

In my biased opinion however, I have to say that the margherita naan pizza is fantastic and I always looked forward to sharing one with a friend. I really should venture forward and try other menu items too.

Hot vanilla latte is very good cuz it has a coffee taste along with the vanilla taste. And the coffee is a little in the strong side. Perfect for me even if its a little pricey. Only tjing id change is the way the handle credit card transactions at the drive thru. I gave her my card and she handed me the card machine to run it myself in the car... lots if options that aren't needed in a drive thru (like a tip option). Not a huge fan of tipping someone for doing their job. If inside and brought to me is a different story. But the woman at the window was super nice and we chatted even after she served me with no rush. Beats Starbucks...
