Whenever I am in or around Burlington, eating breakfast sandwiches from Henry Street is the one thing I absolutely have to do before I leave. Did I eat these 4 days in a row because I only had 4 days in Burlington? Yes, yes I did. And I wish it were 5 days in a row. I don’t know what the folks In the kitchen do to make these babies taste so magical, but it will keep you salivating and coming back for years to come. I swear to god these sandwiches cure hangovers and ailments of all kinds and change/save lives. The bacon specifically is....everything I’ve ever loved. Would give 10000/5 stars if possible.

Look. I’ve been in 11 countries. People consider me a bit of a foodie. Believe me I was surprised the first time I had food from this unassuming little neighborhood deli. They’re in my Top 3 Sandwich List of anywhere I’ve tried. Consistently solid across the board, with a couple real standouts (the Italian and the cheese steak are tops). We try to actively pace how often we come back here for fear of risking flavor burnout. Try the sandwiches. Seriously.

The Henry Street Deli Mart is back in business after the 2016 fire that forced them to temporarily close their doors and the community couldn't be happier. They serve up a wide variety of delicious (and cheap) sandwiches and salads made with great ingredients. The staff is friendly and their hours are great. A word to the wise, the "large" sandwiches here are collossal. Good for at least two meals.

It's disappointing after going to this place for 15+ years to decide to come here and leave a negative review. I have been to Henry Street more times than I can count, very rarely have I left disappointed. Occasionally they forget something on my breakfast sandwich but I'm normally still satisfied enough with the food that I don't care. When I order breakfast there, I get a pork roll, bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll with chipotle mayo, avocados, and a hash brown. For years, and I mean about 10 years, I have been ordering this exact sandwich without modification, along with a 16oz coffee that always came to around $6.50. Recently they raised their prices and I got the same exact sandwich I've gotten for over 10 years for $12 bucks. With no improvement to the quality or quantity of the food, I simply cannot continue to go to a place that almost doubled the price of their food.

I made a polite comment to the cashier, asking if they had changed their prices. I got a fairly mumbly response from the kid working there, saying that yes they were making some changes. I commented that I had been coming to henry street for a long time and my sandwich was almost double what I normally pay and his only response was "Well you got two meats on there, so...".

I don't go to Henry Street for their service, I go there for the cheap but delicious food, along with the generous helpings they generally provide on their sandwiches. But with no change whatsoever in the quality or quantity, I can't see any reason to almost double the price of their food. I don't know if all of their food has been adjusted this way, but I am disappointed and will be going...

I got a large chicken pesto and my girl got a large buffalo chicken. Holy pickles is all I can say. Well actually no. I have a few more things. Sandwich was wet, zero flavor, nasty bread, chicken that was cooked the exact same way for BOTH sandwiches we got. I was so excited to come here because this where we came 10 years ago when I was a student. So sad. Don’t recommend anymore under apparent new ownership. I already threw my sandwich away before I could...
