Best sushi in Burlington! Great and fast service and incredible quality. We are 90% plant based and having vegan options and awesome sushi is amazing! We got the Kanpyo shitake rolls, Inari pockets, and the garlic cabbage udon. The shitake sushi was the consistency of salmon and is a great meat substitute with a delicious flavor. Their kimchi is incredible so I advise trying some even if you just want sushi!

The sushi here is pretty dang good! They also have a delicious curry (don't order it expecting Thai or Indian curry, Japanese curry is it's own unique thing), and recently added a pork ramen bowl to their menu and it's great! On the whole, it's one of my favorite places to stop in for a bite or have a date night. The atmosphere is cozy; you order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table (or you can get take-out). They typically have music on (often, it seems, Wednesday Campanella), but it's always quiet enough to talk over without any effort.

The prices here are also fantastic ($5.75 for a sushi roll or $8 for a huge bowl of curry - can't beat it!!)

They are also vegetarian and vegan friendly, and offer vegan sushi rolls, curry, and donburi alongside non-vegetarian fare. They even offer a vegetarian miso soup if you ask, which is a tough find...

I've been coming here for years. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is very good. The sushi travels well and makes for good takeout takeout food. I've enjoyed all of the new soup options that have been added over the years, especially the vegetarian options. Now that the business is takeout only my only recommendation is please open the inside door so customers don't have to call and hold it open while checking out. I highly recommend giving Sinjuku...

This was my first time in. I decided to try the new pork ramen bowl. The bowl size is generous and has plenty of ramen. The pork was really delicate, I'm impressed! I think it's been marinaded in a soy based sauce. The broth reminds me tonkotsu and miso. It tastes very homemade. Gaku may have some competition! The restaurant isn't anything fancy, but I really like the food! I came during a low traffic time, so my food came out fast and hot. Will definitely be back...
