I set reservation's on my phone for yesterday for 5:45 pm. For two . We got there early so we're told we could sit at the bar and wait also that we could order appetizers so we did. We paid for appetizers at bar and the man that served us there was so nice and helpful he even moved us and our things to our table when ready. Our waitress cam to tell use when we were ready she would come take our orders. We were ready to order but the waitress was standing in the north south corner of the restaurant texting on her phone and looking away from the customers. So I politely got up to my feet and went and asked her for the bathroom. Then said we are ready to order and I'll go to the bathroom after we order. She said ok and was starting to fallow me then I went to sit down and seen she decided instead to go back to her phone texting looking away for customers. We waighted a moment more before my soon to be wife stated please go get some boxes to take home the appetizers. So I did and was helped by the man at the bar nicely he asked what was wrong so I told him and tired him . Our waitress saw all my money come out when I ripped the bar man and rushed over to a lady at the register to say something. The nice man helped pack up our food so we could go. The lady our waitress talked with came over and asked what you leaveing without dessert. I said politely yes we are we tryed to order our meals but our waitress was to busy on her texting to help us even when I asked. So great man at bar tip him but disappointed on service from waitress. And it was slow not busy at all. The only time she seemed to care was when she saw all them $100.00 come out of my Pocket. Message for just her don't judge people we planned to get the lobster from seafood and the new your steak and also leave a big tip. We didn't drink alcohol becouse she was driving and I'm allergic. The chicken lip salad and jumbo shrimps appetizers were Great but still we went to eat are engagement dinner. Not to eat appetizers all night. So better waitress staff is a must in high end restaurants. We will not be coming back we'll eat from now on 2 blocks away at that nice place by the library and the circle k gas station. Maybe we will see you there. For my food critics web blog go to. timstirle4o@wix...
Read moreAdjusted my last review as of 8/16/25 Current review: My husband takes me to Martini's for our anniversary celebration every year. And each year I can't wait to come back...until tonight. We arrived on time for our 8:15 PM reservation and were seated at charming East facing booth. Our two servers were lovely, and although there was a mixup with both of our drink orders, it was rectified promptly. We ordered our appetizers of 4 oysters on the half-shell and 4 smoked oysters. We were told that they were out of the type of oysters they normally serve, and that the ones they would serve tonight would be smaller. Truly, they were about the size of a quarter and neither the raw or the smoked had any girth or flavor. HUGE disappointment and waste of $35! My soup and my husband's salad were just fine. My pasta carbonara was very salty, and I like salt. Glad I didn't season it before I tasted it. My husband's ribeye was salty as well, but we were quite hungry and didn't complain to the server. It wasn't Heather's fault and we ate our meals, so kind of hard to explain our dissatisfaction with empty plates in front of us. Live and learn. I'm afraid I may not feel inclined to come back for our 25th wedding anniversary, and that's saying something, considering what a soft spot I've had for Martini's through the years. But thank you for the creme brulee to take home, and thank you for some very happy memories through the last...
Read moreThe highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the chicken lips. Perfectly beer-battered chicken filets, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these morsels were bursting with flavor, elevated by a house-made buffalo sauce with a mild, sweet heat that just makes your mouth water for more. It’s rare to find a starter so memorable, but these are the pinnacle of a meal starter.
The steaks, however, were the true star of the evening. Cooked to absolute perfection—showcased the chef’s garlic parmesan crust, which complements the natural flavors of premium beef. Juicy, tender, and seasoned with just the right touch, these steaks were some of the best we have had.
The service was equally remarkable. Our server was warm and attentive without being intrusive, ensuring every meal detail was spot on. Plates were cleared promptly, water glasses never emptied, and each dish arrived at the perfect time and temperature.
While the ambiance added a subtle touch of seasonal charm, the focus is clearly on delivering an exceptional culinary experience. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, Martini’s is a must-visit for its outstanding food and unparalleled service...
