Shake Shack Burlington Mall — Restaurant in Burlington

My son and I went there yesterday. We don’t have one up in Maine. Never been to this location. After crappy weather, horrible parking at the mall, the meal itself was fantastic and so worth it. Two reasons. One the food of course. Great burgers, shakes and fries. New breaded pickles ok but small portion. But two, and my main reason for writing a review, was the service of Nat. I wrote another review prior about the professionalism, but when we came back another day being at a local soccer tournament, I actually talked to them again. I wanted to thank them for how professional they were as I noticed while waiting not only were they helping customers, but also delivering food, then took out the trash, all with a smile of their face somehow. For eating at a fast food site I have never seen a person that engaged, let alone in a rushed crowd. Then when I talked to them and found out they was a Manager, I had to write again after two experiences with Nat and how impressed I was and was glad to see them again on a return order. Plus with Nat being somewhat younger for that type of role - clearly deservedly so - the professionalism was even more impressive. When I asked to speak to their manager to compliment the service and found out it was them I figured this was the only way I could maybe get the feedback out there? When we arrived today the doors were locked they were having some kind of issue but they opened quickly we were at the front of the line but apparently people were waiting outside the other entrance because a line formed quickly , the cashier was not friendly and I didn't like the fact I didn't receive a receipt , no idea how much I paid , surprisingly our order was ready very quickly considering how packed they were , the cheeseburger single was tasty but too small , should have got a double , the french fries were a good size but not as hot or salty as I would have liked, but a good sized portion , the large sodas were absolutely tiny and we're so full of ice that each one only had a few sips in it , and they only offered the one size , didn't like the fact the fries were crinkle cuts , and the burgers didn't have too many choices as far as toppings , maybe the shakes were good I didn't try one , overall a mediocre experience and me and my daughter left still hungry and still thirsty as we had been shopping for hours and hours and the portions were just too small I'll probably try again once more to see if...

Don't waste your money here honestly. This site gives Shake Shack a bad name given that the service is terrible and the food subpar. On the service, we requested if the order placed with the cashier could change. He wanted a Double Shake Shack burger but the order had a Double Cheeseburger. Cashier honestly looked confused and was trying to figure out how to handle the situation given that I'm sure there was a cost difference but Jesus get it together - pretty sure you can be okay with making the double SS burger and eating the MINOR cost. Her response was that she would "ask". Well didn't get the Double Shake Shack burger and the customer was trumped over the individual that builds the burger. I ordered the shroom burger and it was cold, with a lovely tiny piece of lettuce that took up maybe less than 40% of the bun and my fries were cold. It was almost like my order sat for awhile while I waited for it. If you really want some Shake Shack (cause let's be real it's delicious) go to the one in Woburn. Far better service and way better...
