Lovesac — Local services in Burlington

Great experience today at Lovesac Burlington with Walter. And I do mean experience! We got to experience what a sectional would feel like, look like and all the possibilities of arrangements and configurations. I brought my 28 year old son (just for a second frontal lobe) and my 26 year daughter with disabilities.

It was 50/50 if we could get through a purchase with my daughter with us. She can be “tricky” noisy and there is always a risk a few shouting swear words may sneak out. All of which happened. Along with the interrupting perseveration on diffent topics that had nothing to do with a furniture purchase.

Huge kudos to Walter who rolled with us and just patiently navigated all our questions and did an excellent job giving us the Royal treatment filled with detailed information on everything we wanted to know and things we were happy to learn.

He was soooo chill which totally relaxed my son and I. She calmed down for a little while when her big brother nestled her in a huge “Sac”, sinking her comfortably in this gigantic plush covered zen -Sac that folded around her.

We covered the color. Material options, and assembly and delivery with no rush on my end to “get her out of there” or pressure from Walter to make a sale or buy more than I had in mind.

My favorite part was when my son and I explained durablity was paramount because my daughter “sensory seeks” gross moter feed back and bounces and bounces and bounces on furniture. (We do our best to curtail these furniture assaults but it is what it is) We explained how she has broken several couches bouncing her small body full force on every couch we have owned over the years sigh,... until the springs eventually give.

Without hesitation Walter took a cushion off a base explaining the covered springs are not only warrantied but can endure significant “usage” He then stood on the covered springs and bounced up and down as if he was on a trampoline! I was actually laughing at this point.

We made our purchase and out the door we went. Everyone intact, and no one worse for the wear from a few swears and the shouting that my daughter let rip.

It was a great experience and one this mother was thrilled to have had. Our endeavor to see if a Lovesac sectional could meet our needs and to see if they were as beautiful as the look on-line ended with a purchase of a beautiful new sectional and chair!

I’ve been saving, researching and planning that whenever my current living room set needed replaced I was going to get a Lovesac setup. It’s infinite configurability and add-ones ensures you won’t be getting a new set just to change the setup.

The practicality and functional aspects over ride some of the more aesthetic (look & feel) parts of the product. If you are considering a Lovesac you’ll be disappointed if you want that fluffy, pillow based leather setup. They get it close but it’s not entirely the same.

The pillow options, depth, setup and configuration can be made to fit any situation and room you might have. There is no denying this company thought their product through and it shows.

For example: we can do a loveseat and a 3 part couch with two ottomans. OR reconfigure into a full on sectional OR configure into 1 or two beds and a variety of other setups over time and even add on to it later if we want something else.

The huge plus here is none of what I described requires any tools, major surgery or is very time consuming. I can have a bed setup in about the same time it takes to pull out a bed from a sleeper couch and the other setups are similar in time and effort.

The reason for 3 stars vs 5 is the price. The functional aspects are without parallel but the cost of this setup was at least double what I wanted to pay and I had to wait 1.5 years just to save enough that it wouldn’t break the bank and I wouldn’t finance for the next 7 years.

For example, if you want the basic 2 seat leather setup it STARTS at $5,500, is a custom order and takes months to get in (some of the wait is COVID related, but not by much). Anything custom can’t be returned or exchanged.

So if if you want that nice, fluffy leather sectional be prepared to spend big, like $10k or more big. Not joking at all, serious straight face, be prepared to spend AT LEAST that on leather.

The other options are cheaper, but expect at least triple what you’d pay at Bob’s Discount and double to Jordan’s and...

Run, don’t wal, but run to the Burlington Love Sac store!!

I do a lot of research before making a large purchase and my recent purchase of a love sac sactional was no different. I was a little nervous about purchasing a love sac, I tend to be a traditional style type of gal and I wasn’t really sure I wanted a love sac (I mean my brother had one in college) but Whoa, was I impressed! The sectionals are quality, sturdy, beautiful and totally and completely customizable so they are a great choice for a growing family or for anyone who needs to change things up like I do. You can change the color, fabric or set up (two couches, no problem, a couch and 2 chairs, no problem) and the fact that you buy pieces means that if I need to expand or if something gets damaged (I have 2 cats, a BIG dog, a teenage and a husband, need I saw more) I can just replace it! Ok, now for the real reason for my review… the team at the Burlington store was AMAZING! First they work as a team and really work together to make sure each customer receives the best attention and support in making a decision. This is not a high pressure place, it’s a relax and cool place to learn about their product. I think over the course of a few days I must have worked with everyone there and it was seamless! A really amazing sales experience. However what really blew my away was the text message I received after my furniture was delivered. Honestly I didn’t notice the message until days later and responded at 7pm without any expectation on receiving a response and nearly fell out of my very comfortable chair when I received a quick text back! I work I a service industry and this team is tops!
