Our family went for lunch and initially had a great experience with a fresh salad. However, the treatment towards us changed completely after my husband accidentally knocked over a glass of water. We apologized profusely and helped clean up the table. Since the seats and floor were wet, we requested a different table, which was kindly provided.
From that point on, we felt ignored. The pizza arrived, but there were no plates. After waiting for almost 6-7 minutes, I waved at the server and asked if she could bring us some plates, as the pizza was getting cold. After another 5 minutes, she placed the plates on the table without making eye contact and left.
No one came to take our next order. After calling for attention to place a dessert order, the server approached us very coldly and took our order. The same behavior continued as we waited for the bill to arrive.
Despite the poor service, we left a 20% tip because we felt bad about knocking over the glass of water.

Our server, Hertha, was shockingly rude and dismissive. While we were still eating, she repeatedly asked if we were finished and if she could clear our plates — rushing us for no reason. When we ordered dessert, she carelessly tossed the plates and forks onto the table as if she couldn’t be bothered. One fork even flew off and landed upside down on the seat next to us, and she didn’t apologize or even acknowledge it — she just walked away.
To top it all off, the moment our dessert arrived, she slammed the check onto the table without a single word and left. It was blatantly disrespectful and made us feel incredibly unwelcome.

For well over a year she has been our waitress, she has always been respectful, pleasant and very professional, to us as well as her other customers. We’ve brought many of our family members in and she’s made them all feel at home. I cannot believe what “Jay” had to say about her. I really hope the “powers to be” did their job before letting one of there best waitresses go. Every time we’ve been there, when I leave I always get a review request, and I always mention Hertha as the best! One time last year we went in & requested Hertha, the person up front said she wasn’t in, so they sat us with someone else…surprise, she was there.
