Taco John's — Restaurant in Burlington

Despite the negative reviews I had regrettably went to eat here, only because it’s in walking distance (I’m a truck driver) otherwise no I wouldn’t have.

-2 stars; they gave me the wrong order. Either that or they prepared it wrong intentionally which is extremely weird. They put all beans in one burrito, and all meat in the other. I’m leaning more towards it was intentional and I was targeted for no reason although it was my first time there, I didn’t do anything to deserve this kind of service

-1 star; the food is messy. If you’ve been to a real Mexican restaurant you know what the quality should be like. Trust me it tastes like prison taco meat (I have never been to prison I say this by figure of speech)

-1 star; poor management. Only two people working, and the orders take long to prepare. I received an apology for the wait, but the words mean nothing if my order was wrong in the end

Final comments

The only good item I got was the $4 steak fried burrito, the steak was ok and didn’t taste messy or dirty, anything less than standard. But I am disappointed in everything else. Too bad I spent about $12 here, should have ate in the restaurant so that I could request a refund or get...

Several of my friends were doing a road trip and they stop by this place to eat and what I mean to tell you. This place was absolutely filthy environment from the upper management to the lower managers and employees is done by an appalling...... Not only did they all get food poisoning but one of them ended up in bed for about a week..... And the behavior of the upper management Towards the lower manager that employees was absolutely disgusted. Nobody should Be treated and be forced to work in those conditions.... There is no way that any good review on here is authentic true review of this place it honestly. I believe that they're paying off the health department or somebody coming by. Because there is no way that could have of that this place whatever get a score above a 45....... I highly recommend if anybody works Workstare or knows of anybody that they care about that works there that have...

Went to taco johns exactly a week ago to the day. I ordered 2 special chalupa tacos, potato olay, and 15 soft shell tacos. Upon arrive home realized they had given me 15 hard shell tacos. I contacted the manager who took my name and told me I could come back in next Tuesday he'd be working. Showed back up today(Tuesday) ordered 4 potato olays and told then the situation, and pulled up to the window. The manager basically tried to barter with me as I didnt have my receipt (which I was never told to keep). He knew who i was and i showed him that i talked to him last week on the phone. He offered me 7 tacos and 10% off my potatos.... I told him it wasnt about the money it was the principal, as i was paying more for the olays than the 15 tacos would've cost me. ✌...
