The local radio station is running a promotion for businesses to have 69 cent sales. The value of the promotion bucks varies with a business. It's still 69 cents on the dollar and cash only. The DJs are enthusiastic and give a lot of LIVE air time to the businesses participating. Pizza Ranch's promotion was $17.25 for a Pizza Ranch Buck with the value of $25 to be used as cash within the year. No other stipulations were mentioned during the many times I heard the Pizza Ranch LIVE DJ promotion ads. I often take my grand kids and sometimes my mom. The sale happened on one specific day for a two hour window and cash only. So, I got my cash and made a special trip to Pizza Ranch just for the discount bucks. The radio DJs were the ones who handled the cash and handed out the Pizza Ranch Bucks. They were inside the door and friendly and enthusiastic. I bought 6 PRB. I have used two on two different times with no problem. March 5th I arrived with my grand kids as typical. I am a senior and then a 16 year old adult, and a 10 and 11 year old. After I was rang up, I handed the woman at the register my red Pizza Ranch $25 Buck with my credit card out to pay for the remainder. Her response was, "Oh, one of those!! You can't use that with discounts. You have to pay full price on everything." I told her I'd used one each on our last two visits. She stood firm, pointing out that it said so on the PRB. I looked, and yes it did, but that was never mentioned during the many LIVE ads for them, and it wasn't mentioned during my two prior times of using one. So, I was not able to use my PRB as cash unless I used no discounts which really defeats the purpose of me buying the PRB in the first place. There is no incentive for me to purchase them again. Pizza Ranch would be a very expensive pizza and chicken buffet without the discounts! I feel that this Pizza Ranch employee has dishonored the spirit of the radios enthusiastic promotion. I have four Pizza Ranch Bucks valued at $100 left. I tried to find a Pizza Ranch email that I could use to address this issue, but sadly, this is the only platform unless I were to write a letter...
Read moreWe went into the restaurant for our reservation of up to 50 people. This was dinner after a funeral for a family member. We called in to verify they were still open due to the weather even, they were. We told them we would have up to 50 people, so they knew we were coming. Upon us arriving they only had half (30 seats) open in the back room which we had requested for our reservation 50. Turns out 42 of us came due to the weather. So we opened up the divider ourselves to make room for the other 12 people. A girl with green hair came in and began to immediately become aggressive with us saying “no no what are you doing, you all have to sit on that side” we tried to explain that we had a reservation for 50 people and those 30 seats were not enough, she wanted no part of it and stormed out saying she was getting her manager. It appeared that a different employee had items sitting in the area and maybe was upset that they had to come get their backpack and other items? Because why would it have been a big deal otherwise. No one ever came in, they didn’t even come in to clear plates (until the very end a nice man came in and cleaned up the plates we had stacked up). Instead while we were out there getting food we witnessed them talking negatively about us and even said they would “let’s just kick them out” and the atmosphere was so tense and made our terrible day even worse. We choose pizza ranch because we are a large family, but I think next time we will figure something else out. The lack of professionalism and hospitality was disappointing to say the least, especially when we did everything right and even called in with the weather to make sure they would...
Read moreArrived around 6 tonight for dinner, the place was fairly busy as expected for a Saturday night. Family and I got in line and had suggested my elderly father See if you could find a table for six, So he would not have to stand in line. When we reach the counter, A young woman who was dressed like she rolled out of bed. Approached us wanting to know how many were in our party, We explained that there were six of us, but we did have a family member out looking for a table. She walked away to go see if she could find us a place to sit, and I explained to the lady behind the counter that we were OK with waiting. The other young woman returned to let us know there were no tables together, but we could all sit two to a table separately we explained that we did not want to separate a family as we did have a young child with us. At that point, she rudely looked at me And stated “ Well, I don’t know what you want me to do. I can’t force anybody to move..” I simply looked at her and said no one asked you to move anyone up until this point we were OK with waiting for a table, but however, due to her behavior and complete non-professionalism my family, and I decided to leave. While my sister went to go find our elderly father, the lady proceeds behind the counter and again loudly tells the other coworker. “I just don’t know what’s wrong with people we can’t force other people to leave.” I turned around and reminded her that no one asked her to force anybody to move tables or leave, but due to this behavior, we would leave and not come back. It was completely uncalled for and not...
