1st time visit, had a coupon from a mailing. Girlfriend wanted mozzarella fries with sauce, grilled cheeseburger, and a small tea. Waited in the drive-thru for 1 other car. Upon stopping at the cashier window, I was told $6.39. I pulled together $20.39, figuring that's easy change to make, 14.00. Gave it to him, and waited. And waited. Seemed like someone couldn't figure out the change. He opened the window and handed me the bag of food, then said he'd be back with the change. I used the following wait time to peek inside the bag. The fries and burger were there, but no marina. The window opened and he handed me my $14 change and closed it again. I counted it and placed it in my wallet, and I waited some more. Finally, he opened up the window again, and asked "Was there anything else?". I said I didn't get any marinara. He gave me a couple packages. He closed the window, completely forgetting my small tea. I drove away, also forgetting it. The 1st thing my GF said when I got back was "Where's my tea?". I called them and went back to get it. What a bummer. I don't think...
Read moreI'm speaking as a Delivery driver for DoorDash. When I went to pick up two orders, I told them both names on the box and they brought out only one bag. He went back in and brought out three bags and a drink carrier with two large strawberry drinks, a shake and a strawberry shortcake. I asked what belongs to whom and he said he didn't know. We aren't allowed to go into customers bags and all restaurants are supposed to have names on sealed bags for delivery. No bags were sealed and when I delivered one order, my finger accidentally went into someone's shortcake. They are supposed to put stickers to cover those up for delivery. Oh yeah, when I told him that I'd didn't know what bags goes to whom, he went inside and came out with one receipt, gave it to me and start3d walking away. Read moreI usually don’t take the time to write negative reviews as I work in the service industry myself and try to be understanding but we had a terrible experience. I don’t complain if service is slow because I know many places are short staffed but we had no service at all. We activated the red button and waited 10 minutes. We watched 3 cars in the drive through get served and we were never even acknowledged. Two employees went out the door and stared right at us for a few minutes just talking… we were really looking forward to eating sonic but 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged while employees are standing idly by is too long. Needless to say they watched us drive off… I used to love sonic but I think I am going to give up going there as we have received poor/ no service the last few times...
