Kapadokia Turkish Eatery — Restaurant in Burlington

Kapadokia Turkish Eatery is a DELICIOUS little nugget found within the Burlington Food Hall!! My sister and I were first time visitors on this particular day, but we entered the food hall with this restaurant in mind as we LOVE to try new things!!🥰 I can tell you now, we WILL be patronizing this restaurant again!!💯 As we browsed the menu, we BOTH decided on the Chicken Platter and it did NOT disappoint!!😋 The chicken was moist and flavorful bite-size pieces! The rice was full of flavor! The platter was absolutely worth the money as it was very plentiful!😊 I ate on my platter 3 different times! It came with a small side salad, some pita triangles, and a couple of different sauces. The tatziki was my favorite as I can't deal with much spiciness; the other sauce was kinda hot! Honestly, I only have two very easily FIXABLE complaints. 1) While eating, I happened to bite into a rather large piece of gristle, which is almost always a meal ending occurrence for me!? 2) Though I'm very happy to know they do wash their lettuce, it wasn't properly drained or dried!? There was probably a tablespoon of water in the bottom of my side salad, which made the lettuce on the bottom wilt.🥴Even draining it, after I added my dressing it was an inedible soggy mess. Friendly staff with a smile. Delicious food and generous portions. Atmosphere is just acceptable because they can’t control the sanitation and the tables were dirty on the available ones. It’s communal seating and the restaurant itself was very clean. I am referring to the seating in the communal area that they do not service. The staff was very welcoming and super nice. The food was well seasoned and I’m glad they have beef instead of lamb because I’ve never liked it. The food is also halal which is a nice touch being this is only one of two in Burlington with halal options. They had their grand opening today and was gifted with delicious baklava. I will definitely go whenever I’m in town. The food was great but the service alone would bring me back over and over. I had the kofte and chicken plate. Apologizing for no delicious food pics!! I opened my take out container, marveled at the presentation & portion size, for a moment & delved in! 1st time at Burlington Food Hall & KTE great experience! We experienced personable service with delicious food! We ordered, sat at a table & they bought the deliciousness to us. Served in take-out containers which is a win for left overs. The space is new, three restaurants thus far, more to come. Plenty of seating. We both enjoyed the Gyro platters w/beef, rice, warm pita bread, a tossed salad accompanied w/tzatziki & sumac sauce. Authentic, seasoned to perfection & so very good. There is someone cleaning, wiping down tables. Bathroom was clean, toiletries supplied.
