Would have to say -5 stars if i could. Went to Dennys for a late night breakfast, walked in about 1 am and it was busy and was okay with that. Watched 3 tables get served and no one came over to us. About 20 mins goes by and this African American male that didnt even look like he had worked there had finally asked do you need menus 5 mins go by and we get a menu. 25 mins goes by before we order, we wait about another 25 to 30 mins before our food comes out being about hour or more of sitting and waiting and was totally okay the wait. We had got our food and some ingredients in the omelet was not what i had ordered and was missing our sides of toast and drinks a simple orange juice and glass of milk that we should have had before our food. We ate are food and waited for out waiter to come back around for to get our drinks we had asked the busboy cleaning tables if we could have our WAITER come help us and he says SHE Is busy right now and we explain we had a man a WAITER not a woman a WAITRESS and the busboy comes and says your waiter had left for the night so we asked who is taking over to help us now and he says no one I guess so we requested a managers attention the busboy says if you want your SH!T that's missing don't give me attitude and ask for the manager About 10 mins goes by and the busboy brings us our drinks as the food is half gone another 15 mins goes by and Our WAITER shows back up asking what's wrong with an attitude and we said we were told you went home and we asked for the manager and he was like yes I went home and had to come back never stating he was the manager we had asked for and his response was I'm wasiting my time you guys can leave before our meals were finished and disappeared on us we finished our meals and went to pay our bill asking the girl at the desk what the managers name was and was never given to us the manager came our from the back and said no need to know my name the police are coming to escort you away worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. When needing to travel to the cities as we frequently do, we stay in a hotel near by this Denny's. We really enjoy Denny's franchise, but this was a weird experience... We stood in the entryway, waiting to be seated like the sign said for about 10 minutes until my husband walked back to the kitchen to see if the conversation being had could be paused. They asked him to wait, which is when we should have left but didn't. The person to be seating us was enjoying a nap in a booth. Why didn't we leave then? I'm not sure. We were a table of 4, our server screwed up on our drink order of 4 waters, 2 coffees with cream & an orange juice... When it came time to order, she was going to memorize the order. Since she messed up our drinks, we asked her to get something to write it down, and she refused to, so we ordered. Can you guess what happened? Yep... ALL 4 of our meals were so screwed up. She tried to say it was the cooks' fault for putting the wrong eggs on the wrong plate or the avocados on the wrong one, not leaving out onion, and so on. Me, being a server for years myself, looked at her & very nicely said, "Why couldn't you have just written it all down?" To which she felt appropriate to raise her voice at me, saying it was the cook who screwed it up. To her surprise, when we received our bill, we figured out she entered it all in wrong. Also, we were excited to try the Strawberry Pancake Puppies & they came out black! We asked for a new set (SMH as they should not have been served) & after she scoffed, they came out less black, but we still couldn't eat them as they were hard & burned. Read moreUnderstaffing makes for a bumpy ride, mostly on weekends. Our previous experience included something missing from almost every part of our order, having to seek out the staff to get anything we needed multiple times, and just an overall frustrating experience. This time the food was correct, but ordering was slow, I watched the line of people coming in pile up, with each walk-in waiting several minutes before any staff member acknowledged them. Again we needed to flag the staff for refills, and I was never offered refills on my water. Others around us also had to walk and find staff for refills. We started going to this location because the Apply Valley location was terrible for so many reasons, but I don't know if there's another location to go to now that the quality here has degraded as well. Disappointing. Weeknights have been great, but Sundays have been bad. Also, they incorrectly overcharged for my dinner, then when I had them correct it they wouldn't take my coupon, because they had "already made an edit on the order". That was unfortunate because the correction was less off than my coupon... And they just said, "sorry" with no effort to rectify it. We've found that they don't accept most coupons, can't give you the advertised amount, and you have to convince them to honor any part of it.... Overall just a...
