ENERGIZED DINING — Restaurant in Butler Township

We have eaten at Tesla on many occasions, several times we have been the only ones in the restaurant. We went today, Mother’s Day for breakfast, arriving at 10:15, and stood in line for 20 minutes. When a waitress finally acknowledged our existence, I said there were two of us. Her reply was extremely rude, she asked us if we had reservations and I said no. She replied again very rudely, they are not taking any walk-ins. Several people behind us also left. I checked the newspaper ads and web pages and no where did it say anything about reservation. I have two complete free dessert cards, I will give them away because we are not returning. You should have posted a sign saying only people with reservations will be seated before making us and others stand there for 20 minutes, there is no situation where rudeness...

I have eaten here numerous times and have recommended this place to many I people. This is the first time my food and service was not good. My sister and I split an Italian flatbread and they burnt the first one so they made another one but it looked like they cut the first one in half and made another half one with no cheese and very little meat. The one half was still burnt. The waitress was not good we had to ask another waitress to get us refills on our drinks. She was waiting on 2 other tables and asked them if everything was okay and got them refills and we were there before them. I will still frequent this establishment but will request not to have that waitress. By the way you need to advertise more. I haven’t had a bad meal here...

The food was great. They served up a simple salmon meal and did it right. I didn't expect fresh green beans in February but that is what they delivered.

The atmosphere is a bit weird as the dining area is one big event room. Cozy it is not but is bright, clean, and airy. It is all open so you see everyone at once but there is privacy as the tables are so far apart. It is a bit creepy as the outside door takes you to a long hallway with the restaurant on the left and the hotel reception at the end.
