I love Taco Bell, but this location is absolutely the WORST one I’ve ever been to. The workers were extremely rude the second we stepped in. The one girl made a joke to her coworker about “locking the restaurant doors” because she “can’t do drive thru and make food” at the same time, which I understand and honestly found it a little funny before all hell broke loose. The wait was EXTREMELY long. I swear we waited at least half an hour, probably longer, before getting our food. I get it was noon and probably lunch rush, but the main girl who’s name I think was Teresa, absolutely handled it beyond poorly. First, none of our orders had our names on them, and they were being placed on the online/mobile rack. My one coworker went up to grab her order, and there was an iced coffee right next to her bag. All she said was that it wasn’t hers, or asked if it was hers (she didn’t order one but she just wanted to make sure that they didn’t misread her order because she did get a regular coffee) and Teresa immediately yelled at her, “does it look like yours? Why would it be yours? That’s for DoorDash! How do you not know what you ordered? How do you come to a restaurant and not know what you ordered?!” And she KEPT going even after my coworker walked away. This was already after at least 10 minutes of waiting. A DoorDasher eventually came in, and he waited at least 15 minutes before politely asking how much longer his order would take. Teresa immediately fired off with an “I don’t know!” He told her he was leaving then, and she literally smiled and waved at this guy. The guy said he’d be speaking with her manager, to which she responded with “go ahead, he’ll be on my side”. Then, my other coworker went up to ask how much longer the last two orders (one was mine) would be. “I don’t know, as long as it takes.” Then to find out they “lost” my name. So I went up with my emailed receipt on my phone, showed it to the two girls working, and the one said she’d start it right away in a pleasant tone, then changed her attitude in a split second to tell me she called my name “a looonnnngggg time ago.” NONE of us heard it at all, and common knowledge would say that if it had really been such a “looonggg time”, why wouldn’t you call the name again? I have worked food service and retail for almost 10 years. I’ve worked in downtown PITTSBURGH for crying out loud. I get being short staffed. I get lunch rushes. I get upset customers and just overall having a rough day. But I have NEVER once been treated or treated someone the way my coworkers and I were treated today. The only good thing is my order was correct. Long story short, save yourself the time and money and go to the other Butler location (never had a problem there!) or literally...
Read moreThe hours on their website and app say they close at 1AM. We submitted (and paid for) an online order at 11:50. We drove there to pick it up, got to the drive through and the attendant opens with "There's a sign, isn't there?". (Rude)
Indeed, there was a sheet of paper on the speaker-box saying they are short-staffed and closing at 12:00. It was 12:00 exactly. This location has listed hours saying they should have been open another hour, and our order was submitted even before the current closing time. So I'm not sure if this location just arbitrarily doesn't make orders submitted through their app near closing time (actually more than an hour away from closing time, but you get it), or if our order was made and was just sitting there but they wouldn't give it to us because it was the minute they closed (again, an hour before their listed closing time)
Beyond that, I'm just kind of amazed at the spitefulness of having someone there on mic to rudely point you to the sign saying they are understaffed and closed.
Credit card still shows the charge for the food we did not get.
Anyway, we still wanted food, so we drove to the other Butler location and re-ordered what we wanted and had a great experience there. The staff at the Moraine Point Taco Bell were nice and even appoligized for the extended wait caused by the line of door-dash drivers who had probably just gone through the same thing as us.
TLDR: the Pittsburgh Rd location has rude staff, untrustworthy hours, and we didn't receive any of the food...
Read moreI arrived at this Taco Bell location 4/30 at approximately 9:20 PM to pick up two separate DoorDash orders. Upon arrival, there was already one Dasher ahead of me who mentioned she had been waiting at the counter for 20 minutes. Another customer waiting on a mobile order shared a similar wait time. What was most concerning was that during this period, no staff member acknowledged or greeted any of us at the counter.
Eventually, a staff member glanced over and asked, “What’s wrong?” After we explained the situation, she responded by saying, “There are three of us and we have six DoorDash orders, sorry,” but no sense of urgency followed. The pace of service remained extremely slow.
One of my DoorDash orders was completed after 20 minutes, but I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the second. During that time, newer DoorDash orders, placed after mine, were completed and set out ahead of mine.
Additionally, another customer entered the store after attempting to go through the drive-thru twice with no response at the speaker. He was understandably frustrated, as there was no signage indicating the drive-thru was closed or unattended.
To add to the frustration, the staff locked the doors at 9:30 PM and could be heard complaining about being short-staffed, yet there appeared to be little effort to move efficiently or communicate clearly with...
