Burger King — Restaurant in Byron Township

Burger King used to be my favorite. I will not visit this BK again.

I stopped going to this BK a long time ago because they are always slow (inside and drive-thru) and they got the order wrong more often than they got it right on ALL past visits. I decided to give them another try on my way to Celebration on the Grand.

Inside Service:

The place smells old and greasy, like it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in years. The girl taking orders seemed annoyed when asked what came on the chicken sandwich. She had a bit of an attitude which is probably due to her shame from working there.

There were a couple other orders at the inside counter besides us. I saw at least 4 or 5 workers but it still took about 10 minutes to get our order. If you aren't familiar with industry standards this is about 3 to 5 times SLOWER than it should be when busy. They were not busy.

Quality of Food:

The quality of meat they use must be pretty low because it doesn't taste like beef. WHERE'S THE BEEF?! Fries were ok. You'd think they can't mess up a coke but take a real close look where the Coke and ice come out. Really. Look up in there and see what you can see. You'll never eat out again.

Overall a regrettable experience. Again.

BK should SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN and turn the lot into a picnic area for all the other food joints on Hamburger Hill that still at least TRY to serve quality. Granted, it is “fast food” which is devoid of any real nutritional value, but that doesn't give you a free pass on quality and service BK. It does not.

SIDE NOTE: One other reason I stopped going here... I have driven up to the drive-thru about 20 minutes before closing time only to have the drive-thru light turn off while I was sitting there waiting to order. Not a word from anyone inside. Is this any way to run a business?

ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: I don't usually complain, I just stop giving them my money. I suggest you do the same until they (whoever they may be) cleans things up or shuts it down. What they are doing is basically robbery using the BK name because this is NOT the Burger King I grew...

I would give this place a big fat zero if I could I went here today to get my grandkids kids meals through the drive-through. They took my card and closed the window for at least two minutes when the young girl opened the window she told me just a minute and shut it again for at least another minute, when she reopened it, she told me my car didn’t work. I had use my card several times today then the manager appeared. I asked him why she close to the window. He said he asked his employees to do that. I said how do I know they’re not taking pictures of my card especially considering it took her so long and now she’s telling me my car doesn’t work it’s frozen he tried telling me oh it could be that machine pull up to the next one. I pulled up to the next window and said well how do I know you still didn’t take pictures of my card considering you had a window closed that’s covered in tint, he told me either try paying at this window or leave and never come back I gave him my card. What do you know it went through he gave me my food and told me never come back. I hope I don’t get any extra charges. Don’t...

The Burger King on 68th Street in Cutlerville never answers their phone. They got my order wrong after I was very specific and they repeated it back to me when I ordered and when I got to the window. When I got home I called them and they didn't answer the phone. I've tried calling them a few more times in the past couple days since this happened and they still have not answered the phone. I don't have time to waste, nor gas--which is very expensive now. They are also very stingy with ketchup, etc. Will only give you 5 packets no matter how many orders of fries you buy.

Update: the manager argued with me and wouldn't listen. He also dissed one of his employees, which is disrespectful. He did, however, replace the meal. He told me the phone never rang. When he went to go get his phone, he noticed it wasn't working. How can they not notice a downed phone from Friday night until Sunday evening? He also said a few other rude comments to me/about me.
