Chef Candace — Restaurant in Cabot

The only reason I visited this place was because of the restaurant’s advertising on Facebook. We had the wraps which were okay and I ordered the apple pie which cost $38 including taxes. When I picked up the pie it was frozen and my first impression was the pie appeared to be assembled very sloppy. I didn’t say anything and was hoping for the best. I followed the instruction to put pie in refrigerator the day before baking. Once the pie thawed I noticed the top layer was not attached and pinched together with bottom pie layer and extra pie dough was just folded under. The pie was suppose to bake for 1 hour at 350, no it took at least 2 hours. The top pie crust was a too thick and still doughy after 2 hours and bottom crust was doughy. I hate leaving this poor review, but if I spend that much money on a pie my expectations are higher.

First time going to Chef Candice in Cabot, AR! I was very excited to try the Carnivore wrap! We got 2 carnivore wraps, 2 cupcakes and 1 strawberry pie.. to go, this was $46 w/o tip, $$$. Ok let's break it down! First the place is adorable and very clean. Easy access and plenty of free parking. The young lady that rang me up was very nice. I've heard great things about this carnivore wrap so we had to try it. Sadly it seemed salty to me and it was just ok. We got 2 cupcakes, one was a banana cream pie?? Omg, it was devine! The other was a strawberry cupcake and it was delish! Both cupcakes were beautiful in presentation! Lastly we got the strawberry pie. If you haven't had this yet, you gotta try it! Calling all mens, all the bros.. .. Listen up. If you want a GREAT.. not just good protein packed lunch that taste absolutely amazing and will fill you up fo-sho then drive past the fast food places and walk into this soccer mom infested bougee place you have been avoiding and grab you a carnivore (I get the wrap, add avocado) . I am not sure who owns the place but I am about 95% sure she was raised by wolves or is married to a grizzly bear because this one is a manly selection. And while you are there grab a cupcake, cookie or bar for yourself or lady. She will love you for it and I promise you will be back. Not sure of anything else on the menu lol, I have not had a reason to try anything...
