Wells Burgers Express — Restaurant in Caddo Mills

Well Express has the best burgers in Caddo Mills! Easily the very top hamburger option for anyone in this area. This location is a spinoff of the very popular and award winning Wells Cattle Company in Rockwall and serves the same grass fed beef which they also raise and process! The whole beef blend patties are the secret here, and the cows themselves are raised just a few miles from this very location. Really remarkable.

They don’t have the full menu that the main location does, and it’s take out only. This means you’ll need to eat in your car, but if the weather is nice there are a couple of picnic tables and a shaded pavilion behind the food truck.

The hype is real, and the price is absolutely worth every penny. Locally owned and operated, locally raised beef and high quality ingredients. Wells Express truly makes Caddo Mills a destination worth pulling off...

The wife and I decided to try the Wells food truck for a burger and headed to Caddo Mills.

We arrived and we both ordered a double cheeseburger.

I did not know at the time but Wells was running a charity event to help the Caddo Mills volunteer fire department get another ambulance. I actually met the owner when waiting fkr the food and he was very kind and told me about his ranch.

Food was ready a few minutes later and the burger was a really good quality of beef. Flavor was great as well. The burger was a little lean for me for a smash burger, but this is not a diss - its a compliment to the quality of his beef. For these reasons I'm leaving a 5 star review for a great burger and a great owner taking care of his community.

We will try the Wells restaurant next.

Drove up and ordered my burger, received a pager, went to my car to wait and had my burger within a 6-7 min timeframe.

If you have ever been to the Rockwall location, then you know Wells has the best burger around!

In comparison to the Restaurant burger, this is by far so much better. (I didn’t think a better burger existed-but Lee somehow managed to outdo HIS own burger by using a smash burger technique) giving you the crispy edges with a tender texture that melts in your mouth, all the while coming out to a medium/well burger with that perfect pink in the middle that so many desire in a good burger!
