Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Royse City

My family and I used to go to Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen quite frequently. The main ones we would frequent were two of them in Mesquite, TX. Then their customer service and food quality would diminish. So much so, we just quit going all together. That had to have been over 15 years ago. Then today, my wife and son and I was looking for something we don’t usually eat around us. They did put up a Popeyes near us in recent years. But as said above, we did not want to go. But after consideration we decided to go ahead and take gamble. Even though a couple of our favorites were no longer on the menu. Dirty rice and jambalaya was gone. My wife and I decided what we wanted and after a five minute discussion with our little, he decides on the garlic non spicy Parmesan boneless wings. My wife orders the chicken dippers and classic wrap. I get the 5 piece spicy strips and two sides (mash potatoes and Mac and cheese) I make the 25 minute drive to pick up our order. I tell the young lady the counter the pick up name and number. She turns around and then says they were out of garlic parmisan. Strike 1. So I called my wife and son and it was decided to just get them plain and my wife will just make the garlic parm herself. The young lady bags everything up and I make the trek home. Get all the way home and start dividing it up between the three of us. We open his box of boneless wings and look in. Well what do you know, they are not boneless. Strike 2. My son reluctantly says it ok and he will eat them. My wife prepares the garlic parm sauce and coats them up. He takes a couple bites and he says “Daddy, these are spicy”. He eats two and says he’s full and can’t eat anymore. I looked at one he was eating and what do I find, SPICY. Strike 3. Most of the time, if something negative happens at a restaurant I will give it another try depending on how bad it was. But this time was three things all together. My sister and I went there on Saturday 06/16/2022 and placed an order at the Drive-thruThis girl that waited on usThat handed us our food through the window Kaley was her name Was everything but professional She did not give us the entire order And when we asked her about it and we tried showing her the receipt she just passed up before she gave us our order. She didn't care one way or another. she closed the window in our face she also told the guy that came to the window to try and help us. She told him to closed the window and forget us. So we drove around to go inside to get out order that we paid for finished the had locked the door just before we made it around the building. So we drove back to the drive -Through. And this other girl came to the window with your mother box of food and I asked for them GM and the store # and was told the phone was not working. So I' informed her that I wasn't talkin about the phone number. I want the store number so that I could report them to the district manager or the GM manager. Because this is no way a Customer should be treated. When we were the one who paid 20.00 plus for food we didn't get. Until that guy Ignored what she said about closing the window in our face and Decided to open the windowTo help us again. And the young lady that say she's something like a manage but don't have the Title yet. Worst Service ever for the ROYSE CITY LOCATION! I HElP WITH THE CHAMBER AND CALLED IN FOR A CREDIT THAT I HAD ON A MESSED UP ORDER they did a few days prior. A YOUNG HISPANIC GIRL BY THE NAME OF "SHEILA" WHO TOOK THE CALL, AFTER I TOLD HER WHAT I WAS CALLING FOR, SHE PUT THE PHN DOWN & TOLD HER EMPLOYEE PEERS, THAT A EFFING LADY WHO WANTS FREE FOOD" IS ON THE PHN FOR A MANAGER!(in SPANISH) I WAS LIVID, WHEN I SHOWED UP, THE ASSISTANT MANAGER WAS IN HER EMPLOYEES DEFENCE AND SAID, ALL PPL MAKE MISTAKES & HAVE THEIR OWN OPINIONS, in which case, her employee made that huge mistake of a Racial discrimination! She didn't know i knew Spanish & almost crapped herself when i showed up to confront the situation. At this point, i could care less about the chkn, i was livid by the lack & disgusted wrk ethic from the young girl & the assistant mngr. Thankfully they called the main mngr by phone & i was able to speak with her. She was very polite at that. But therefor, i will never ever step foot in there ever again giving them my business. So sorry for the two young boys who wrkd there that witnessed it all.

These photos are just of the girl who talked so disgusting & never once apologized to me, but hid behind the stoves until i left!!! Funny that when i went in to talk to her, yes i was livid, but the assistant threatened to call the cops on me,, i asked her if she needed me to call for her. She knew they were in the wrong.. i can only imagine how many white ppl they talk about so ugly like that, but that day,, it was another latina who understood her & called her out for it!!!! YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT ME EVER!!!

AT THE END, THEY DID TRY TO FIX THE ERROR, So YES MY DOGS ENJOYED THE 10PC CHKN THEY THREW 2GETHER THAT WAS MOSTLY SITTING...
