DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. You will be wasting your time. Both times I have tried with the RC location they waited until I was there to make the order which completely defeats the purpose.
The first time was for an important conference. The order was placed on Monday for that Friday. It was late due to not starting until i was there, making me late, and was a disaster and embarrassing considering I put the order in way advance.
I did email them through the website and did not get any sort of a response at all. Not even a sorry, we will work on training.
Today we put an order in for the family, 30 mins in advance. When there at the given time by the site for pick up and providing the name they then printed out the order and simply said "we'll prepare this for you".
It would be one thing if it was almost done. But to have not even started it until then is absolutely ridiculous. I lived in Rockwall many years ago and had the same issue there which cause me to stop placing to go orders. I does not make sense to tell people to wait at least 30 mins to pick up if you aren't even going to prepare the food until they arrive. We could have just gone there to order and probably gotten our food in less than 30 mins instead of placing an order and having to wait 30 mins for them to make it.
Clearly they have not improved their service and I won't be wasting my time with online orders here again.
However, the food is good, so should I ever care to dine in, I would and would recommend it for a dine in location. But just don't waste your time...
Read moreThis location is new to the area. My family and I usually eat at the one in Wylie. But we thought we would give it a try. My wife orders her with no problems. I want the rojo chicken flautas. The person taking the order didn't know what it was. And had to ask a manager. We get that situated and proceed to the cashier, and the person didn't know how to ring it up and had to get a manager. ( A little more training may be needed). I get my food. The flautas tasted the same as they do at any other location. As did the rice. I usually get the charro beans, but opted for the "refried" beans this time. I took one bite and instantly regretted that decision. I'm not sure if they come prebagged and the "cook" just heats them up or if they add them with the other ingredients and let them cook that way. Either way, something was not there as they tasted awful. Straight into the trash they went. Maybe a step was missed in the flavor process or something was left out. Let me tell you the ridiculous scenario I was presented with… I asked them if their queso was spicy and they said yes.. I kindly asked if they could put that ONE small scoop of queso (this usually comes with the burrito at no additional cost) on the side for me since I had my toddler with me and we were sharing food… tell me why they tried to charge me $5 for that one small scoop of queso at checkout!? They said if I get it on the side it’s “extra” but if they put it inside the burrito it is not. Once again I explained the reason why I wanted it on the side only for them to tell me they couldn’t help me and I still had to pay extra. Very disappointing that you can’t accommodate your clients under situations like this one specially when I’m already paying almost $20 for a burrito. I will not be visiting this...
