Read moreThe best things about the restaurant was the building itself and the portions. Other than that it is definitely a miss.
My kid is allergic to eggs but eats and loves bacon amd pancakes. The only meal they had for him including pancakes and bacon also came with egg. We asked if he could substitute literally anything for the egg. Was told No. I ordered an omelet with chicken and guacamole. The chicken had absolutely no flavor. Was just a piece of dry chicken in an omelet. I ran out of water early into eating. The waitress recognized I was out of water and that my toast was completely burnt to the point of almost being unedible. She said she would bring more toast. I asked if first she would please get me water. She then went to a large table of 13 people, took their order, then entered their order into the system and then brought me toast that was now the opposite of burnt and looked untoasted. I had to remind her to bring me more water. A couple came in, sat beside us, waited for about 10 minutes for someone to take their drink order. Nothing. So they eventually got up and left. Once they left the waitress and hostess then made fun of them to another table. Lastly, a small issue but still an issue with the environment. There is a leaking roof just between the front door and hostess area. So instead of fixing the leak, they placed 2 potted plants under the leak so that every drip waters the plants.
So overall we spent $55 on breakfast that was bland and with wait staff that weren't very good. I personally will never go back. It really is a shame because the building is very nice and they could have a great little restaurant if they were to put forth...
Read moreI'm a local who has been here multiple times. Do not eat here.
1.) I just ate here again today and got VIOLENTLY ILL. My food (Knife & Fork sandwich) came out room temperature/cold. They "remade" it and it was warm, but not as warm as it should be if its made fresh. It is clearly not made fresh to order. They leave the premade food sitting out unheated which is dangerous as bacteria is allowed to grow.
2.) Also today, our silverware was dirty. One knife had some kind of green vegetable dried up and stuck on it. My silverware was sticky and visibly dirty.
3.) Previously - The gravy on the chicken fried steak was ice cold.
4.) Previously - Waitress was high on drugs.
5.) Previously - We sat outside and there were TONS of flies everywhere, all over our food. They brought these cheap little amazon spinny things which helped a little, but why they haven't screened the patio in after all these years is beyond me. Ridiculous.
6.) Previously - I ordered a drink that was on the specials menu, some kind of apple cinnamon drink. The bartenders didn't know how to make it (our waitress told us so) and it was mostly milk with a little bit of apple flavored whiskey in it. Not very good. And why is it on the menu if they don't know how to make it?
I cannot recommend eating here at all. It is not safe, the food is not cooked fresh or kept at safe temperatures which is the #1 reason. We will NEVER...
