McDonald's — Restaurant in Caledonia Charter Township

Had some issues with my order...ordered a sweet tea, triple cheeseburger plain and a McChicken. They were out of sweet tea and the drive thru clerk said they were brewing more and I didn't want to be a pain so I just said give me a Coke...lol but he said they were brewing it. Had me pull up and came out right away saying since it might be 4-5 minutes that they added sugar packets and asked me if it was okay. Well it tasted like regular unsweetened tea but man the effort he put in was fantastic and isn't usually seen often at fast food joints. I said it tastes great...but when going down the road I opened the triple cheeseburger and took two bites thinking this doesn't seem right, it was dark so I turned my dome light on and saw two patties and 3 pieces of cheese, okay I can deal with that but was a bit bummed about paying for something and not getting it but I ate it on my way home then got to the McChicken which ended up being a cheeseburger with everything on it wrapped in a McChicken wrapper and I can't stand ketchup so that was tossed but I had to laugh at the whole thing. I've worked retail before for years and know getting help ain't the easiest...I probably would've been really upset but the drive thru clerk really going above and beyond made it better. I emailed McDonald's and about a week later Rich got ahold of me and apologized. I told him the service was fantastic but whoever was on the grill that night needed to be watched a bit closer. We frequently visit this McDonald's, saying this sounds like nails on a blackboard because over the last several months this place has gotten worse. We always order our fries extra cripsy, they never come out right the first time they either throw old fries in the fryer or pull new ones before the timer goes off (making soggy uncooked fries.) My most recent issue causing me to right review is what happened today... I ordered mozzarella sticks and I ALWAYS check my food before leaving the parking lot. Well I got a box that said mozzarella sticks I thought all was fine. I got home and handed out food to my family and my "mozzarella sticks" were chicken nuggets! I was so pissed! If I wanted nuggets I would have ordered them! So I tried calling to complain, I wasn't about to drive back there, no one answered. I let the phone ring for over two minutes. I sat and waited two minutes and called again, still no answer in over two minutes of ringing. In total I called four times with no answer. I intend on making a formal complaint to whomever is in charge. The owners of this particular McDonald's needs to replace all employees, I know this seems impossible to do but really it can be accomplished. I'm not a genius but I sure know...

I often go here after a later night gym session at Snap (a few doors down). I usually just get a Diet Coke. I've never gotten food here, so can't comment on it. I also can't comment on what it's like during the day time. I usually go here at 9:30-10pm on Friday. Obviously, late night service is quick in-and-out. WHY do I keep forgetting that this McDonald's Coke tastes like iron/minerals? IMHO, Caledonia's water is nasty to begin with. Anything you make with the water is going to taste gross. It would help A LOT if this McDonald's got a filter system, or something of that nature, to help make the soda taste better. If I have a free Speedy drink, I'll go across the street to Speedway and get a fountain drink there. The Speedway's fountain pop tastes just fine. So, why does this McDonald's pop tastes like iron?
