We waited for 5 minutes, rang the bell multiple times, and no one came to assist us. A Walmart worker who was taking her break in subway saw us standing there for a while, asked if we rang the bell and we said we did. The Walmart worker decided to go to the back where the subway worker was standing there doing stuff in the back and said we were waiting, and the Walmart worker left. The subway lady finally came out and asked why we let that happen, and we thought she meant why she let us wait so long, but she was talking about why we let a Walmart worker go back there to get her. So the subway lady got so upset and defensive telling us, “don’t do that, that’s terrifying me standing back there and I turn around to see a random person standing there. You should not be going and getting a Walmart worker to come get me from the back room.” I said to my fiance that we were leaving and the subway lady instantly got even more upset saying she asked why we let that happen and we said yes, and I said “we didn’t send the Walmart worker back there, we rang the bell multiple times and there is an alarm that goes off when people come and go from subway, so you should have heard something. She proceeded to tell me that I could not reorder my food because they were OUT OF BREAD, and that I could not get my money back either because only her boss could do that and, "He doesn't come in often and I don't know when he will be in to do that for you" She apparently thinks they can just take people's money and food and that's okay? Not on my watch. They are all probably sitting back and eating my order as I type this!

Read moreI really applaud the owners for hiring people with hearing disabilities. Danielle made a sandwich for me today, and when I said 12" chiclen teryaki, she heard 12" of meat on 6" of the bread. When I said toasted, she heard put it in the oven for literally 5 seconds. When I asked for "just a little wee bit of onion" she heard throw a heaping handful onto the sandwich.
