I was having at rough day at school, I’ve been working for the past 4 days. So me and my friend decided to go to mcdonald’s to do our homework together. We came to this mcdonald’s, sat down, and got our work out. After a few minutes of casual talking, one of the managers came out by us, she was refilling the straws by the soda machine and she asked us “Are you guys buying anything?” So i responded with a maybe because i was still unsure if i wanted to get a snack. After a few more minutes she came back again and said “You guys can’t use the wifi if you aren’t buying anything. Our wifi is for customers.” So I just listened to her and agreed with her, but we continued to do our work since it is a public place and the wifi is free. We were quietly starting our work and were not causing a disturbance or any sort of problems. Another few minutes went by and she came to us for the third time, at this point I was already upset. This time she asked us to take out our chargers from the outlet that were charging our school computers and that the wifi was for customers only and we had to buy something from the restaurant in order to use the free wifi. I then told her it was a public place and she proceeded to interrupt me saying that the free public wifi was only public for customers. As I said in the beginning I was still debating wether I wanted to buy something or not but after her comments about us I no longer wanted to purchase anything. We then packed up and left. The overall experience was completely unnecessary and unsatisfactory. I will most likely not return return to this location, due to my...
Read moreI've never been to a worse restaurant, McDonald's or otherwise. We were double charged for 2 salads, received food we didn't order and didn't get food we did order. When my husband went back to the store to resolve the issue, there was a line of people waiting on refunds for orders that had been screwed up. While my husband was waiting in line an elderly woman had been waiting 10 minutes for two cups of coffee. When the woman asked the girl working how much longer it would be, the girl said "Look lady, I don't make the coffee, you'll get it when you get it! period!" My husband was horrified at how the poor woman had been treated and told the girl that she can't talk to ANY one that way. The girl mumbled something and walked away. The elderly woman said she had been in for coffee the previous week and they told her if she wanted coffee she should go to Milwaukee to get it! This is ridiculous! How can a restaurant expect to keep customers or bring in new customers with employees who have ZERO respect for the people they're hired to serve?! This restaurant may be pretty close to home but I'll be going elsewhere from now on. If things continue like this I see this store closing and those horridly rude employees bring...
Read moreTerrible experience across multiple areas in the last month. On 5/6/25, my child became severely ill after eating a quarter pounder with cheese meal and an oreo mcflurry. It was bad. We did report this. Unfortunately however the health department doesn't investigate until there are a certain number of complaints. Many people might just think they caught a stomach flu and may not make the connection to the food. His illness happened immediately after eating the food and continued for a week. Then, last week, an employee swore at my child and their friends using extremely foul language because they walked in close to closing time. Extremely uncalled for. They are good kids, and did not deserve that whatsoever. There are ways to nicely tell people the restaurant is closing in 5 minutes that don't involve displaying that type of inappropriate behavior. I have also become ill from this McDonalds several years ago (chicken nuggets). For all these reasons we will not be back. It's a shame, as it used to be an enjoyable place 20 years ago. I hope for the sake of the community who continues to go here, that this location improves by...
