Amish Store — Restaurant in Calera

Stopped in here with a car full of hungry kiddos. Hubby has told me about this place after trips he's made saying they make the best sandwiches and he was not wrong. We ordered almost one of every type and ended up cutting then into 4's so everyone could sample each one 😅. Cajun turkey and Chicken Salad were my faves. The club was popular with the kids as well as the turkey on jalapeno bread! There were no crumbs left behind. They are just the sweetest and friendliest. I tried their ham on white, and Cajun Turkey on jalapeno bread. They are filling and loaded with meat. The meat was fresh, nothing was too salty or too sweet. I could not resist but get a turtle. Also delicious and not overly sweet.
