Stopped off the exit to get gas and a coffee...on my way to visit my Daddyo in Tennessee....and there it was! Right in front of my face the name I have called my Father my whole life. Was thinking...why not, maybe I can get a box or bag with the name on it. Opened the door and the most amazing fresh aromatic fragrance hit my face. Glorious, clean very organized, beautiful display and the most professional young man behind the counter. What a pleasure. Proudly took the donuts to Tennessee and my Father ate maybe 4 donuts right away. My Daddyo was so happy, he asked all about the place. I am so excited were going to plan another trip very soon so were definitely stopping by. I highly recommend everything as you can tell they use only the best ingredients. I absolutely LOVE the donuts. They are fresh and delicious every single time. However, I don’t always like the attitude of the staff. I usually go through the drive thru, where I’m greeted with friendliness and kindness. It’s always a quick trip with no issues. However, the last time I visited, I went inside. The lady at the front went through the motions of a typical service worker, but didn’t make eye contact with me at all. As soon as I walked in the door, she seemed very annoyed with me. She begrudgingly put my donuts in the box, told me the total, and didn’t say anything else to me. I said “have a good day!” On my way out, with no response. Positive reviews brought me to this quaint donut shop on my way through to Chicago and the reviews were right on. The moment you open the door the scent hits you and you're immediately hooked. A very clean and inviting place that gives a great first impression. The young gentleman at the counter was so polite and presentable that I wished I'd had a daughter to introduce to him. Then there's the donuts. I've long been searching for the perfect glazed donut and I found it here. Also had a cinnamon which was exceptional as well.
