Taco House — Restaurant in Georgia

Toco House has really good food, but I am giving one star because of my experience with customer service. Our waiter was very good but two of the women behind the buffet line were extremely rude and it felt as if they were almost being racist. The younger lady completely acted as if I annoyed her when I told her the order for my children and without acknowledging she even heard me, with an attitude she then walked over to an older woman and said something to her and they both kept looking my way and laughing. When she came back over, I then asked her what's wrong is there some kind of problem. She again with a bad attitude as if I were bothering her again, said she was just telling her my order. It was very obvious I was being talked about and laughed at. Needless to say no matter how good your food is, customer service goes a long way. And if you make your customers feel like they are bothering you, or that you are making fun of them by simply placing an order, then I can almost guarantee you will lose business that pays your...

Edit: sorry to say that I have ate at Taco House for the last time. For years they had the same servers and they were wonderful. Recently they have hired new servers and cooks. On my last experience, my husband and I both ordered from the fast lane as we have for the nine years we have been eating there. I have always added multiple orders of shrimp to my bowl. I was told this time that I could not get my bowl until my shrimp was ready and therefore my husband had completed his meal long before I was ever served mine. What was supposed to be a lunch date turned into me watching my husband eat while I sat there hungry. I have also always ordered a large margarita and I was told that they can no longer accommodate me. Sorry to say but I'll take my money...

I love this place and come every week but this last trip left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand wanting to leave however, we arrived 20 minutes before close to grab something to go, we would never expect to sit coming in that late. I asked for salsa and sour cream and was told no they didn’t have any, I asked why when they always do and the lady replied” well we were closing before you came in” and rolled her eyes at me. I said “yea I understand that but we got here in plenty of time to order” and she said “no we’re closing, we don’t have any.” Again this is 20+ minutes before they close and I should be able to order TO GO.
