Placeritos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Calhoun

One of our favorite finds since moving here. Great food, cheap prices and always such sweet and nice staff. One of my favorite salsas I've had at any restaurant. Since we have a 5 yr old with us it's nice that it's not a spicy salsa so my son can enjoy chips and salsa without all the heat( they do have other salsas that are hotter you just have to ask) Taco Tuesday is the the best. 1.75 a taco and you have like 8 meats to choose from. So a lot of verity.

We go after our sons speech therapy on Tuesdays and my son loves it we keep a menu in the car and he'll wave it at us or point to all the pictures when we get out of therapy telling us he wants to go..

Update still the best tacos we basicly are there every Tuesday but do plan on trying some of their other specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Placeritos is a phenomenal location to get incredible food! From the barbacoa to the el pastor, each item is tailor made to ensure impeccable results. My favorite taco is the chorizo which never fails to come out crispy and delicious. The staff truly puts in their all in regards to quality service. Excellent food and customer service. We usually get the taco supremes (ground beef), steak fajitas, but last time we got the Texas fajitas (steak, chicken, and shrimp) randall we can say is Amazingly good. But if funds are low,. I always stop by just for chips and salsa. The owner is a Great guy and the cook is one of the best. Five stars for sure. Located right beside one of our favorite stores in Calhoun.
