Beach Hut Deli — Restaurant in California

Very disappointed in not only the service but the quality of our sandwiches this evening. First, we arrive at 4:25 PM, confused because the hours are listed until 5pm, however, the "OPEN" sign is off. We proceed to walk in anyway and order. We were greeted and asked what we would like (Reason for the 1 star), when we ordered one of the specialty sandwiches "The Pig Kahuna", the gentleman had to look under the reach in to see if he had the product which it seemed he did after he continued to take the order. We ordered pineapple on the side and extra hot sauce. The sandwich itself is usually a delicious mess and this time it was a horrendous mess. It was a mixture of chicken, pork and chunks of fatty meat and ABSOLUTELY NO hot sauce what's so ever. We had to add Tapatio vs the Tabasco that normally comes on it which pulls from its original flavors. I ordered a veggie sandwich with Italian dressing on the side which I'm sure I was charged for but never received but I guess the half cup of mayo that was on the sandwich was supposed to make up for it? Not to mention the sandwich itself had 1 ringlet of onion, no mustard, no alfalfa sprouts.. As someone that visits Beach Hut Deli often.. this was my least...

Awful customer service! We placed a phone order over the weekend, my wife went to pick it up and i5 took almost 2 hours to complete the order. She paid full price, and came home. Our kids couldn't wait and ate at home, totally ruining our Sunday lunch plans. I called to speak with the manager to be told she's not at thr store for the day. I sent a complaint via their website. Today I received an email from the owner upset that I yelled and cursed at her employee over the phone, which I didn't, mentioning how she can't comp our meal. I was upset, but not disrespectful. I expected more out a chain as such.

You're such an unprofessional. Sharing your customers emails online. Please mention that we paid full tag, never caused a problem at the store, but Instead I called to speak to the person in charge. Met by an easily offended like yourself shift lead that didn't like me asking how come our phone not online order took so long. Since you were not there, If you're employees are telling you it took less than an hour and forty minutes, and that I cursed at them, then they are lying.. I will file complaints where I need to for your horrible...

This is for new the owner, I have never had Beach hut deli before but I can definitely say Iam kind of disgusted in how they do not change their gloves I was watching the cashier touch money and then go in the back and start washing dishes without changing her clothes I had to ask them to change their gloves to make my sandwiches because they were not changing their gloves after making other people sandwiches and touching other things. The floors were completely dirty the people who were making the food there clothes looked dirty they should be wearing aprons. My biggest complaint is that they need to be changing their gloves after making sandwich. And to top it off I just got home and try to take a bite out of my food because were so hard they’ve been frozen and then defrosted and then frozen and then defrosted I couldn’t even eat it I’m so disgusted.
