I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bottoms Up Espresso located conveniently at the Madison-Manzanita intersection in Carmichael, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with fast and friendly service by the delightful Bailey, whose infectious smile brightened up the entire place.

My 4th time stopping by Bottoms Up Espresso and finally leaving a review…. So here we go. First of all they’re located at the corner of Madison & Manzanita right behind AmPm gas station. They have two drive through lanes but only one is open. Ordering is only at the window which is a little inconvenient in my opinion. If there’s 2-3 cars in front of you then expect to wait at least 7-8 min. When I first ordered my coffee here I thought it was odd seeing girls in bikinis but after reading the reviews looks like that’s the company motto “Bottoms Up”… hmmmmmm To be honest with you I prefer the girls wear just normal clothing but that’s my opinion. I usually order the “Blond Bombshell” iced coffee with half the sugar. On my visit today I asked for lite ice and after receiving my coffee there was more than 75% ice. That’s a big NoNo for me. I’ll give them another try and if that keeps happening I’ll take my business back to Dutch Bros. Service 4...

Whilst the friendliest barista has been out sick (whom I've yet to see return), this place has hired some new people and it has severely dampened the quality of service and frankly, the already wildly inconsistent drinks. I stood at the walk up window for nearly 15mins while the other window seen multiple customers and multiple drinks before I was spotted. There isn't a bell or system to acknowledge the barista besides standing on the other side of glass. Although I received a half-hearted apology for the wait, the drink I did receive was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the extended wait.
