Burgers and Brew — Restaurant in California

I Got Food Poisoning from eating the Cobb Salad here!! I Went up and I Ordered the Cobb Salad from here, the atmosphere was okay, and service was okay. Only thing I had eaten for about 1.5 days, So I was ready dig in and devour the salad. When I received it. I did a quick assessment of the salad, it “appeared” to be ok. I devoured the whole salad. Almost instantly my husband knew something was wrong. My head began to hurt, my throat was real scratchy and itchy like it had something lodged that did not want to go down, first muscles in my shoulder blades then muscle in my thighs began to ache, like I had been in a wrestling tournament match, then muscles all over my body began to ache. My husband left to get me a bottle of water to see possibly if that help me flush things down and it can move through my body. By the time, I arrived home in Las Vegas, I was completely annihilated. The bacon, jalapeño burger & fries here exceeded my expectations! Portions were generous and they didn’t skimp on jalapeños or other toppings like lettuce, tomato and onions. IMO, it’s one of the better airport food options for the quality of the bacon burger and price point. The steak fries were perfectly crisp. Would definitely order food here again if I had another layover at this airport.

It was so enjoyable that I came back to the counter to compliment the food and was told the chef is named Brandon. He came over to say hello and thanked me for the feedback. The woman who took the order was also very nice. I didn’t feel rushed to order when perusing the menu. It was later in the evening closer to closing. Not sure why the reviews aren’t better… perhaps service varies during peak rush times during the day… which means they’d need more staff to...

When our flight was delayed 11 hours, we decided to get something go eat here. It was extremely busy but the line moved fast which was promising. Unfortunately the rest of our experience was downhill from there. We got 4 burgers and 1 drink, the total came to nearly $100. It's airport food so that's to be expected. The redheaded woman at the front was extremely rude, kept yelling pretty much at everyone in line and honestly seemed extremely overworked and understaffed. Also they were out of half the stuff on the menu. Despite all of this, their wall has their awards displayed, "Top 20 restaurants in Sacramento".. The cherry on top was that I got maybe 15 fries with my burger, the meat was raw in the middle, and they gave us dirty looks for asking for extra ketchup! Id rather starve than pay $100 for...
