Beware the Terminal B Mafia! I rarely write bad reviews on the service industry. The waitress was kind, quick and helpful. This is a review on the company more than the staff. Any “specialty drink” they default to a double, not a single. They do not ask if you want a double or even let you know that is their default. It does not say that on the menu. SURPRISE! $22.49 for a middle of the road Old Fashioned that feels like a single. When I asked about it, the waitress immediately asked the manager to come over. She likely gets this question a lot. The manager took off an amount that says “screw you” and said they can send the sherif over if I won’t pay then walked away. He said he talked with his “supervisor” but my view was perfect, no phone calls or anyone else around him. Mafia… Make sure to be specific on what you want. There is not really anywhere else to go to get a drink in terminal B. Try anywhere else. Went to pay the check from the QR code and boom, a different amount. 1/5, do not recommend

We were there 12/3/19, the manager needs a new job. I asked to move into the bar after about a 10 minute wait at our table so that we could get service faster. He asked me 100 questions, meanwhile lost the seats I had in mind. He couldn't compute my request so I told him I would leave. Finally when walking out he said he would get a server to our table. While she meant well, she disappeared for long stents. When at an airport you need service and food stat, at least most of the time. We ordered wine and a salad to share. About 40 minutes later and BTW 1/2 of the restaurant had vacated, we got our salad. HELLO, a freakin salad. I think they had to catch the salmon. Now, the salad was really good. Worst service ever. I blame the manager. Step it up guys, you have a great place there and I'd love to go again but only unless I have half a day.

Varied menu, good food, attentive staff, clean tables, convenient location within the Sacramento Airport terminal. Table and bar seating available. Although this is a ‘sit down’ style restaurant, food and beverage prices are similar to nearby ‘self service’ restaurants. Ordered a grilled Ham & Cheese sandwich (with a draft ‘Coors Light’). Waitress was responsive & attentive. Food arrived within a reasonable time, directly from the kitchen area. Airport restaurants have a ‘captive audience’ and as a result, quality often ‘slips.’ This is not the case based on my visit to ‘Esquire Grille’ this day.

Our experience: we had just gone through 4 hours of trying to find another flight after ours was canceled. Mentally exhausted, Frusturated, and 2000$ more for our party of 6 flight, we stopped here to regain our positivity. Lunch and 1 drink. My friends chicken sandwich was still raw which she noticed after eating half. We told the waitress who had another sandwich cooked. That sandwich was also raw. Upset and now worried about food poisoning for our trip, we pointed the second sandwich out to our waitress. This lady was about 40 years old, blond straight hair. She began arguing with us that the pink was tendons in the meat. Okay, we are all about 30 years old and have cooked chicken many times. My friend was trying to explain this to her, and the waitress shushed my friend! Literally. Now we are all getting agitated. Then another girl in our party noticed she had 2 black hairs in her macaroni. None of us have black or even dark brown hair. We ask for a manager. This man was nice, and professional. My friends husband asked for our food to be comped. The manager agreed to comping 3 meals. All the mean while a larger 30ish old busser thinks it's appropriate to make little remarks behind us, being unprofessional. The manager even told her to go on. The waitress then passed our bills out wrong which confused us. When we asked her about the prices since everything got confusing with the comp, she treated us like we had mixed up the bills ourselves. Like she was right we were wrong when we simply wanted to know what was going on. The busser was back over talking with the waitress like we were ignorant. We all left so Frusturated. We went and sat in the airport awaiting our flight when my friends husband realizes he cant find his phone. (I had mistaken it for my phone and slipped it in my purse) he went back to the restaurant to see if they had seen it. He politely asked the waitress. The busser once again is hovering and said out loud that she felt threatened by our friend trying to locate his phone! A minute or so after he left I found the phone in my purse and 1 of us ran to tell him. We could not believe she would say something like that in an airport over him looking for his phone respectively! Instead of feeding into her drama, he just left the restaurant. When we flew back in from our trip, we had to walk by this restaurant. There was the cook and busser pointing at our group, laughing and mocking us. Ridiculous. I have been a waitress for 9 years. This is not how you ever deal with a situation or treat people! I still dont even know why the busser was hovering by us with accusations and causing a scene, and have never heard or seen another waitress shush someone.. and get away with it! So even though the manager was respectful and professional, if he allows his employees to shush people, argue with customers, bad mouth and make us feel belittled... he is not doing his job with his staff. Unfortunately, this complaint is all we can really do since most people only visit a place like that on their travels. However, we will never again be one of them. This was January 6, 2018. This was the first time in my life I left a 0$ tip. Horrible attitude, service,...

As others have said.. VERY slow service. Jessica was a rude waitress. Our drinks took 15 min and then food 45 min. Food was just ok. Overpriced for what you get and extremely inattentive service with an attitude. Since drinks were taking so long, we tried to cancel since we couldn’t bring onto flight and she said they couldn’t cancel them. They weren’t even made yet! Of course you can cancel an order! Then miraculously they appeared after we tried to cancel them.. we had to pack up food to take on flight. We thought an hour would be plenty of time to order and eat, but definitely not. And the best part.. because we were so rushed to pack up food and get to boarding, I left my credit card there. Called them MULTIPLE times over my trip and left several messages. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returns messages from their voicemail. When I returned I went there in person and they don’t even have a protocol for a left behind card. Normally a restaurant gives to manager and it’s kept in a secure place. The manager/hostess started rummaging through the host stand drawers and just said she didn’t see it. Why would someone put a CC in an unlocked drawer at the host stand between the staplers and pens.. come on people! When I told her I was calling and leaving messages all weekend, her exact response was “oh, yeah nobody answers the phone here” So unprofessional. She just said to ask lost and found. I asked to leave my info there in case she found it, but I doubt she will make an effort. Lost and Found at the airport is also just leaving a message.. so I have several messages there as well. I think I just need to cancel it. Very disappointed with the poor service, awful attitude and lack of a way to reach a place when something like this happens. I would give negative...
