Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in California

Let me start by saying that the Carl's Jr on Kettleman in Lodi, California has the best staff. Oh my goodness we were greeted at the door with a friendly "Welcome in. How are you today?" The restaurant was spotless, and everybody was busy cleaning or cooking, but they still had time to be polite and friendly. I've only had a few good experiences in this town with customer service, and those are the places I'll go back to even if the food was mediocre. We tried the El Diablo and The Hangover Burger. They were okay but they weren't great. The Diablo Burger had a lot of jalapenos which I really enjoyed, but there was no cheese and the meat was a little dry. The habanero sauce had no spice way too much mayonnaise and there was way too much of it on my burger. The Hanover Burger was disappointing, it had paper thin bacon, little hash browns that fell out of the burger as you ate it and a fried egg that was way over fried. Nothing special. So will I order the Diablo Burger again? Sure, but I'll ask for cheese and the sauce on the side. The hangover Burger isn't served anymore which is fine. We'll go back to our standard...

They oughta close this location down. They use burnt meat on the burger and cold. They have these bi-linguals that dont know about sanitation of freshness. They are too worry about selling the burger than making it fresh. These employees have no experience in kitchen, they are just working there for a paycheck and thats all. Instead of making the customer happy of making a fresh burger they give you a cold dry meat that has been siting there for a long time and they use the microwave to heat up the dry burnt meat that has been sitting there and we dont know how long its been sitting there. I had waffles fries and they are to "'lazy" to make fresh waffles and they use waffle fries with a bunch of crumbs. You bee lucky if you get 5 big waffle and the rest is crumb. I rather go to a different location, and it doesnt matter how far it is, at least i'm going to get fresh hot out of the broiler fresh meat. They are most lazy employees ever and they should...

Just left the place on Elk Grove Blvd and Emerald Oak. Their staff is beyond ride. The drive thru speaker seems to have issues and really hard to hear the person taking orders. We order a famous star meal and when we get to the window, the young lady reads back our order as a lettuce wrap. We correct her and say we didnt order that, just a regular burger. She then proceeds to tell the other employees that she didnt get the order wrong that she heard us ask for that and it wasnt her fault. She left the window open just so we could hear her continue to complain about us "ordering" something and changing it as we are pulling in to pay. There was no need for all of that. You got the order wrong on your part so just own it. I told her nicely and politely they should have that speaker taken care of so they dont get wrong orders as it was so hard...
